Chapter One Hundred Twenty-Nine (פֶּרֶק מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים וְתִשְׁעָה)
And know (וְדַע), that the existence of Yaakov is formed in this manner (שֶׁמְּצִיאוּת יַעֲקֹב נַעֲשֶׂה בְּזֶה הָאֹפֶן), the Yesod of Abba pierced within the body of Ze’ir Anpin (יְסוֹד אַבָּא בָּקַע בְּתוֹךְ גּוּף זְעֵיר), in the two-thirds of Tiferet with a first piercing (בִּב׳ שְׁלִישֵׁי תּ״ת בְּקִיעָה רִאשׁוֹנָה), and a second piercing within the Yesod of Ze’ir Anpin (וּבְקִיעָה שְׁנִיָּה בְּתוֹךְ יְסוֹד ז״א), and from the Yesod of Ze’ir Anpin emerged the great light that it received from the Yesod of Abba (וּמִיסוֹד זְעֵיר יָצָא הָאוֹר הַגָּדוֹל שֶׁקִּבֵּל מִיסוֹד אַבָּא), and a complete Partzuf of Yaakov was formed (וְנַעֲשֶׂה פַּרְצוּף שָׁלֵם מִיַּעֲקֹב), [standing] before Ze’ir Anpin ([הָעוֹמֵד] לִפְנֵי ז״א). In this manner (בְּזֶה הָאֹפֶן): the back of Yaakov is opposite the face of Ze’ir Anpin (אֲחוֹרָיו שֶׁל יַעֲקֹב כְּנֶגֶד פָּנָיו שֶׁל זְעֵיר), and a Partzuf is formed from the chest and below of Ze’ir Anpin (וְנַעֲשֶׂה פַּרְצוּף מֵהֶחָזֶה וּלְמַטָּה שֶׁל ז״א), and corresponding to the Partzuf of Yaakov there emerged its Nukvah, namely Rachel (וּכְנֶגֶד פַּרְצוּף שֶׁל יַעֲקֹב יָצְאָה נוּקְבֵיהּ שֶׁהִיא רָחֵל), from behind Ze’ir Anpin (מֵאֲחוֹר ז״א), “from between his sides, between the two arms” (מֵחֲדוֹי מִבֵּין תְּרֵין דְּרוֹעִין) (Zohar, Bamidbar 141b), as you already know (כְּמוֹ שֶׁיָּדַעְתָּ). It follows from this (נִמְצָא לְפִי זֶה), that in the place where the Yesod of Imma was completed (שֶׁבַּמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁלַם יְסוֹד אִמָּא), which is at the end of the first third of the Tiferet of Ze’ir Anpin in front of him (שֶׁהוּא בְּסוֹף שְׁלִישׁ רִאשׁוֹן שֶׁל תּ״ת ז״א מִלְּפָנָיו), the Partzuf of Yaakov emerged (יָצָא פַּרְצוּף יַעֲקֹב), from the light that emerged through the Yesod of Abba (מֵהָאוֹר שֶׁיָּצָא דֶּרֶךְ יְסוֹדוֹ שֶׁל אַבָּא), and behind him emerged the Nukvah of Yaakov, namely Rachel (וּמֵאֲחוֹרָיו יָצְאָה נוּקְבֵיהּ שֶׁל יַעֲקֹב שֶׁהִיא רָחֵל), from the light of Imma (מֵהָאוֹר שֶׁל אִמָּא), in the place where her Yesod ended (בַּמָּקוֹם שֶׁכָּלָה יְסוֹדָהּ).
