Chapter Twenty-Three (פֶּרֶק עֶשְׂרִים וּשְׁלֹשָׁה)
Behold, in the formation of the fetus, which is Ze’ir (הִנֵּה בִּיצִירַת הַוָּלָד שֶׁהוּא זְעֵיר), Imma also participated (נִשְׁתַּתְּפָה גַּם כֵּן אִימָּא), namely (דְּהַיְינוּ), that she too gave her portion with her five Chesadim and five Gevurot (שֶׁהִיא גַּם הִיא עִם ה׳ חֲסָדִים וְה׳ גְּבוּרוֹת שֶׁלָּהּ נָתְנָה חֶלְקָהּ). And her five Chesadim (וְה׳ חֲסָדִים שֶׁלָּהּ), are in the five Names of Havayah filled with Alephin (הֵם בַּה׳ שֵׁמוֹת הֲוָיָה בְּמִלּוּי אַלְפִין), and [when] the filling of the Vav is without the Aleph (וְ[כַאֲשֶׁר] מִלּוּי הַוָּ״ו בְּלֹא אַלֶ״ף), each of them equals the numerical value of Dam [Blood] (שֶׁעוֹלֶה כָּל אֶחָד מֵהֶם כְּמִנְיַן דָּ״ם), and it is an allusion to the five kinds of appearances of pure blood (וְהוּא רֶמֶז לַה׳ מִינֵי מַרְאוֹת דָּם טָהוֹר). And the five Gevurot (וְה׳ גְּבוּרוֹת), are in the five Names of Ehyeh (הֵן בַּה׳ שֵׁמוֹת שֶׁל אֶהְיֶ״ה), thus (כָּזֶה): Aleph, Aleph-Heh, Aleph-Heh-Yud, Aleph-Heh-Yud-Heh (א׳ א״ה אה״י אהי״ה), in its squared form (בְּרִבּוּעוֹ), each of which also equals the numerical value of Dam [Blood] (שֶׁכָּל אֶחָד מֵהֶם עוֹלֶה גַּם כֵּן כְּמִנְיַן דָּ״ם). And they are an allusion to other kinds of blood (וְהֵם רֶמֶז לְמִינֵי דָּם אַחֵר), from whose descent downward (שֶׁמֵּהַתּוֹכָם וִירִידָתָם לְמַטָּה), are drawn the five appearances of impure blood (נִמְשָׁכִים מֵהֶם ה׳ מַרְאוֹת דָּמִים שֶׁל טֻמְאָה). From Imma (מֵאִמָּא), they spread to the other Partzufim (מִתְפַּשְּׁטִים לִשְׁאָר הַפַּרְצוּפִים), until they come into Beri’ah (עַד שֶׁבָּאִים בִּבְרִיאָה), and there they sometimes become the five appearances of impure blood (וְנַעֲשִׂים שָׁם לִפְעָמִים ה׳ מַרְאוֹת דָּמִים שֶׁל טֻמְאָה).
And know (וְדַע), that the five Havayot of Chesadim mentioned above (כִּי הַה׳ הֲוָיוֹת שֶׁל חֲסָדִים הַנִּזְכָּרִים), depend upon the five letters of the filling of Havayah of the Name S"G (הֵם תְּלוּיִים בַּה׳ אוֹתִיּוֹת שֶׁל מִלּוּי הֲוָיָה דְּשֵׁם ס״ג), and those letters of S"G equal forty-two (עוֹלִים הָאוֹתִיּוֹת הַנִּזְכָּרוֹת דְּס״ג [לְסַךְ] מ״ב), which numerically equals Imma (שֶׁהוּא עוֹלֶה בְּחֶשְׁבּוֹן אִמָּא). Namely (דְּהַיְינוּ), the Name S"G is thus (הַשֵּׁם ס״ג הוּא כָּזֶה): Yud-Heh-Vav-Heh (יו״ד ה״י וא״ו ה״י), and from its three Yudin and the Vav of the filling of the Yud, and also the first Vav of the Vav (וּמִן ג׳ יוּדִי״ן שֶׁלּוֹ וְהַוי״ו שֶׁל מִלּוּי יו״ד, וְגַם וא״ו רִאשׁוֹנָה שֶׁל וא״ו), equal forty-two (עוֹלִים מ״ב), and upon it depend the five Havayot of Chesadim mentioned above (וּבָהּ תְּלוּיִים הַה׳ הֲוָיוֹת שֶׁל חֲסָדִים הַנִּזְכָּרִים), which equal forty-two (שֶׁעוֹלִים מ״ב), which is the numerical value of Eloah (שֶׁהוּא כְּמִנְיַן אֱלוֹ״ה), which is the seal of the soul (שֶׁהוּא גּוּשְׁפַּנְקָא דְנִשְׁמְתָא). The five Havayot depend upon this Name Mem-Bet (הַה׳ הֲוָיוֹת תְּלוּיוֹת בְּשֵׁם מ״ב זֶה), for in order to make a four-letter Name [Yud Heh Vav Heh] that equals Dam [Blood] (כִּי לַעֲשׂוֹת שֵׁם בֶּן ד׳ [יו״ד ה״א וא״ו ה״א] שֶׁיַּעֲלֶה דָּ״ם), we can do it in three ways (נוּכַל לַעֲשׂוֹתוֹ בְּג׳ אֳפָנִים), by removing the Aleph from the first Heh (לְהָסִיר הָאַלֶ״ף מִן ה״א רִאשׁוֹנָה), or from the Vav as mentioned above (אוֹ מִן וא״ו כַּנִּזְכָּר לְמַעְלָה), or from the final Heh (אוֹ מִן ה״א אַחֲרוֹנָה), and by removing the three Alephin (וּלְהָסִיר הַג׳ אַלְפִין), there remain forty-two (יִשָּׁאֲרוּ מ״ב), as mentioned above (כַּנִּזְכָּר לְעֵיל). And upon the four letters Vav-Aleph-Heh-Heh, which are the five letters remaining from the Name S"G, whose value is the same as Ehyeh (וּמִן הַד׳ וא״ה ה״ה שֶׁהֵן ה׳ אוֹתִיּוֹת הַנִּשְׁאָרוֹת מִשֵּׁם ס״ג שֶׁעוֹלִים כְּמִנְיַן אֶהְיֶ״ה), upon them depend the five Names of Ehyeh mentioned above (בָּהֶן תְּלוּיוֹת ה׳ שֵׁמוֹת שֶׁל אֶהְיֶ״ה הַנִּזְכָּרִים). It follows that the Name S"G equals Mem-Bet and Ehyeh (נִמְצָא שֵׁם ס״ג עוֹלֶה מ״ב וְאֶהְיֶ״ה), and it also equals three times AHY (וְעוֹלֶה גַּם כֵּן ג׳ פְּעָמִים אה״י), which are in the three thirds of Imma (שֶׁיֵּשׁ בִּשְׁלֹשָׁה שְׁלִישֵׁי אִמָּא), as stated in the Zohar, Idra Kadisha (כָּאָמוּר בַּזֹּהַר בְּאִדְּרָא קַדִּישָׁא), “This Holy Atika is found in three heads, and they are included in one head” (הַאי עַתִּיקָא קַדִּישָׁא אִשְׁתְּכַח בְּתַלְת רֵישִׁין וְכָלִילָן בְּחַד רֵישָׁא), “thus all the other lights are included in three” (כָּךְ כָּל שְׁאָר בּוּצִינִין כָּלִילָן בְּתַלְת), which are the three thirds of every Partzuf (שֶׁהֵם ג׳ שְׁלִישֵׁי כָּל פַּרְצוּף).
