Chapter 12, Section 1 (פֶּרֶק י״ב אוֹת א׳)

1. From His Throne of Glory and above (א. מִכִּסֵּא כְבוֹדוֹ וּמֵעָלָה), one hundred and eighty thousand times ten thousand parasangs in height (מֵאָה וּשְׁמוֹנִים אֶלֶף וּמֵאַת אֲלָפִים רְבָבוֹת פַּרְסָאוֹת גָּבְהוּ), from His right arm to His left, seventy-seven myriads of parasangs (מִזְּרוֹעַ יָמִין וְעַד שְׂמֹאלוֹ שִׁבְעִים וְשִׁבְעָה רְבָבוֹת פַּרְסָאוֹת), and His arms are folded upon His shoulder (וּזְרוֹעוֹתָיו כְּפוּלִים עַל שִׁכְמוֹ). His right arm-Kenissisiki"yah is its name (זְרוֹעַ יָמִין קְנִיסְסִיקִי״ה שְׁמוֹ), and His left-Mitkehiasasi"yah is its name (וּשְׂמֹאל מִתְקְהִיאָסַסִי״ה שְׁמוֹ). The palms of His hands are forty thousand myriads of parasangs each (כַּפוֹת יָדָיו אַרְבַּעַת אֲלָפִים רְבָבוֹת פַּרְסָאוֹת כָּל אֶחָד וְאֶחָד), the right palm-Horaz"yah is its name (כַּף יָמִין הוֹרַז״יָה שְׁמוֹ), and the left-Chashashi"yah is its name (וְשֶׁל שְׂמֹאל הִיא חַשַּׁשִׁי״ה שְׁמוֹ). Why is His Name called “the great, the mighty, and the awesome God”? (לָמָּה נִקְרָא שְׁמוֹ הָאֵל הַגָּדוֹל הַגִּבּוֹר וְהַנּוֹרָא), Metatron said (אָמַר מֶטַטְרוֹ״ן): “Until this point I have seen the height of Yedidiah, the Master of the World” (עַד כָּאן רָאִיתִי רוּם יְדִידִיָּה דְּמָרֵיהּ עָלְמָא), peace (שָׁלוֹם). “What is your Beloved more than another beloved,” etc.? (מַה דּוֹדֵךְ מִדּוֹד וגו׳) (Shir haShirim 5:9), “My Beloved is radiant...” etc., the entire passage (דּוֹדִי צַח וגו׳ כָּל הַפָּרָשָׁה כֻּלָּה), until “O daughters of Yerushalayim” (עַד בְּנוֹת יְרוּשָׁלַיִם).
