Chapter 18, Section 1 (פֶּרֶק י״ח אוֹת א׳)

1. Their horses are horses of darkness (א. סוּסֵיהֶם סוּסֵי חֹשֶׁךְ), horses of shadow of death (סוּסֵי צַלְמָוֶת), horses of gloom (סוּסֵי אֲפֵילָה), horses of fire (סוּסֵי אֵשׁ), horses of blood (סוּסֵי דָם), a horse of hail (סוּס בָּרָד), horses of iron (סוּסֵי בַּרְזֶל), horses of cloud-mist (סוּסֵי עֲרָפֶל), horses upon which they ride (סוּסִים שֶׁרוֹכְבִים עֲלֵיהֶם), standing upon troughs of fire (הָעוֹמְדִים עַל אָבוּסֵי אֵשׁ), and filled with coals of broom-wood (וּמְלֵאִים גַּחֲלֵי רְתָמִים), and they eat coals from their troughs (וְאוֹכְלִים גַּחֲלִים מִתּוֹךְ אָבוּסֵיהֶם), in the measure of forty se'ah with a single mouth (כְּשִׁעוּר אַרְבָּעִים סֵאָה בְּפֶה אֶחָד), according to the size of the mouth of each and every horse (לְשִׁעוּר פֶּה כָּל סוּס וְסוּס), three times the measure of the opening of the troughs of Caesarea (שְׁלֹשָׁה כְּשִׁעוּר פֶּתַח מֵאָבוּסֵי שֶׁל קֵיסָרְיָא).
