Chapter 28, Section 2 (פֶּרֶק כ״ח אוֹת ב׳)

2. Who is able to declare one from among a thousand thousands of thousands and myriads of myriads of Your mighty deeds, King of Kings of Kings, blessed is He (ב. מִי יוּכַל לְהַגִּיד אֶחָת מֵאֶלֶף אַלְפֵי אֲלָפִים וְרִבּוֹא רְבָבוֹת גְּבוּרוֹתֶיךָ מֶלֶךְ מַלְכֵי הַמְּלָכִים בָּרוּךְ הוּא), that the Chayot stand and remain before You in subtle stillness (שֶׁהַחַיּוֹת נִצָּבוֹת וְעוֹמְדוֹת לְפָנֶיךָ דְּמָמָה דַקָּה), they are fire, their movement is fire, masculine fire (הֵן אֵשׁ הֲלוֹכֵן אֵשׁ דְּכוּרָא), and they fear fire from fire, lest they be consumed in flaming fire (וְהֵן מִתְיָרְאִין אֵשׁ מֵאֵשׁ שֶׁמָּא יִשָּׂרְפוּ בִּלְהָבֵי אֵשׁ). They surround You (סְבִיבָתָן לְךָ), they encircle You (הִקַּפְתָּן לְךָ), within them are hidden things (אֶצְלָם צְפוּנִים), within You are ponderings of secret and understanding (בְּקִרְבְּךָ הוֹגִים בְּסוֹד וְשֵׂכֶל), girded with strength (עֲזוּרֵי עֹז), wrapped in glory (עֲטוּפֵי הוֹד). No eye shall behold the place of Your spear (עַיִן לֹא תָשׁוּר אַיֵּה חֲנִיתֶךָ), for You are King and Holy One (כִּי מֶלֶךְ וְקָדוֹשׁ אַתָּה), able to know Your deeds (שֶׁיָּכוֹל לָדַעַת אֶת מַעֲשֶׂיךָ), and to investigate Your might (וְלַחְקֹר אֶת גְּבוּרוֹתֶיךָ), how there is none able to see Alef, Bet, Gimmel-and so all of them (כַּמָּה שֶׁאֵין יָכוֹל לִרְאוֹת אָלֶף בֵּית גִּימֵל וְכֵן כֻּלָּם). Metatron, whose name is called by eight names (מֶטַטְרוֹ״ן שֶׁנִּקְרָא שְׁמוֹ עַל שְׁמוֹנָה שֵׁמוֹת): Margiyu’el is his name (מַרְגִּיוּאֵ״ל שְׁמוֹ), Giytiya’el is his name (גִּיוּתִיּאֵ״ל שְׁמוֹ), Ziyutiya’el is his name (זִיּוּתִיּאֵ״ל שְׁמוֹ), Aḥiyahiya’el is his name (אֲחִיָּהִיָּאֵ״ל שְׁמוֹ), Kiyyoya’el is his name (כִּיּוֹיָאֵ״ל שְׁמוֹ), Yehoyoya’el is his name (יְהוֹיוֹיָאֵ״ל שְׁמוֹ), Uzzahiyeh (אוּזָהִיֵּ״ה), Uzzaha’el (אוּזָהָאֵ״ל), Sagnasga’el (סַגְנַסְגָּאֵ״ל), Sagdiya’el is his name (סַגְדִּיאָאֵ״ל שְׁמוֹ), Sagnasiyriyeh (סַגְנַסִּיֵירִיֵּ״ה), Sagnasga’el is his name (סַגְנַסְגָּאֵ״ל שְׁמוֹ), and from love-Sagnasoyleh (וּמִתּוֹךְ אַהֲבָה סַגְנַסוֹיֵיל״ה), for they were beloved in the Heights (שֶׁהָיוּ אוֹהֲבִים אוֹתָם בַּמָּרוֹם), they would call them in camps of holiness (הָיוּ קוֹרְאִים אוֹתָם בְּמַחֲנוֹת קְדוֹשִׁים): Metatron, servant of Hashem (מֶטַטְרוֹ״ן עֶבֶד ה׳), long-suffering and great in kindness (אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם וְגָדוֹל חֶסֶד), blessed is He (בָּרוּךְ), Knower of secrets and Master of masters and the hidden (חָכָם הָרָזִים וַאֲדוֹן הָאֲדוֹנִים וְהַסְּתָרִים). Amen, amen, selah, selah (אָמֵן אָמֵן סֶלָה סֶלָה).
