Chapter 5, Section 1 (פֶּרֶק ה׳ אוֹת א׳)
1. The first voice-whoever hears it, immediately fasts and prostrates The second voice-whoever listens to it, immediately strays and never returns The third voice-whoever listens to it, immediately his skull is broken and the tops of his ribs are loosened The fifth voice-whoever hears it, immediately is poured out like a flask and his stature is shattered in its joints, becoming like water (קוֹל הַחֲמִישִׁי, כָּל הַשּׁוֹמֵעַ אוֹתוֹ מִיָּד נִשְׁפַּךְ כְּקִיתוֹן וְשָׁבַר מִדְרָתוֹ בְּכַרְכָּיו לִהְיוֹת כַּמַּיִם), as the matter that is said: “Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh, Hashem of Hosts…”
