And on account of this, “For he is flesh (beshaggam)”, that he is flesh, the word stands to remove the spirit of life For he is flesh (beshaggam) holds below and holds above And on account of this we have learned: Moshe did not die, rather was gathered from the world and was shining to the moon For the sun, even though it is gathered from the world, does not die, rather enters and shines to the moon So too Moshe (כָּךְ מֹשֶׁה). Another matter: beshagam he is flesh - in the drawing of spirit into human beings, many times it reverted to become flesh, to be drawn after the body, and to labor in the works of this world

Rabbi Yitzḥak said, all the generations that were composed were entirely Righteous and the Pious Afterwards they spread and bore children and taught craftsmanship and wisdom The world was overrun with spears and swords Until Noach came and prepared for them the Tikkun of the world and to work and repair the earth For at first they were not sowing and harvesting Afterwards they needed this, as it is written: As long as the days of the earth endure...

Rabbi El'azar said, Kudsha Berikh Hu is destined to establish a Tikkun for the world and to repair the spirit in human beings so that their days may endure forever This is what is written: For as the days of a tree shall be the days of My people... (Yeshayahu 65). And it is written: He will swallow up death forever, and Hashem Elohim will wipe away tears from all faces, and remove the disgrace of His people from all the earth, for Hashem has spoken

Rabbi Shim'on said (אָמַר רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן), behold, we have learned (הָא תָּנִינָן) that when Kudsha Berikh Hu created the world (דְּכַד בְּרָא קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא עָלְמָא), He engraved it with carvings of the secret of faith (גָּלִיף בְּגִילוּפֵי דְּרָזָא דִּמְהֵימְנוּתָא), within pure ones in supernal secrets (גּוֹ טְהִירִין בְּרָזִין עִלָּאִין). And He engraved above and He engraved below (וְגָלִיף לְעֵילָא וְגָלִיף לְתַתָּא), and all was one secret (וְכֹלָּא בְּרָזָא חָדָא). And He made the lower world in the likeness of the upper world And this corresponds to that (וְדָא קָאִים לָקֳבֵיל דָּא), to be all one in a single unification (לְמֶהוֵי כֹּלָּא חָד בְּיִחוּדָא חָדָא). And therefore Kudsha Berikh Hu engraved engravings of letters above and below (וּבְגִין כָּךְ קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא גָּלִיף גְּלִיפֵי דְאַתְוָון עֵילָא וְתַתָּא), and with them He created the worlds (וּבְהוּ בְּרָא עָלְמִין).

And Come and see (וְתָּא חֲזֵי), just as Kudsha Berikh Hu made the world (כְּגַוְונָא דְּעֲבַד קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא עָלְמָא), so too He created Adam Kadma’ah (הָכִי נָמֵי בְּרָא לֵיהּ לְאָדָם קַדְמָאָה). He opened and said (פָּתַח וְאָמַר), But they like Adam transgressed the covenant (וְהֵמָּה כְּאָדָם עָבְרוּ בְּרִית) (Hoshea 6:7). For Kudsha Berikh Hu crowned him with supernal crowns (דְּהָא קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא אַעֲטַר לֵיהּ בְּעִטְּרִין עִלָּאִין), and created him with the six directions of the world (וּבְרָא לֵיהּ בְּשִׁית סִטְרִין דְּעָלְמָא), to be perfect in all (לְמֶהוֵי שְׁלִים בְּכֹלָּא). And all would tremble and be afraid before him For when Adam was created, he was created in the supernal likeness (דְּהָא כַּד אִתְבְּרֵי אָדָם אִתְבְּרֵי בְּדִיוּקְנָא עִלָּאָה), and they would look at that likeness and tremble and be afraid before him (וְהֲווּ מִסְתַּכְּלָן בְּהַהוּא דִּיוּקְנָא וְזָעָאן וְדָחֲלָן מִקַּמֵּיהּ). And afterward, Kudsha Berikh Hu brought him into Gan ‘Eden (וּלְבָתַר אָעִיל לֵיהּ קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא בְּגִנְתָּא דְעֵדֶן), to be delighted there in supernal delights (לְאִתְעַדְּנָא תַּמָּן בְּעִדּוּנִין עִלָאִין). And supernal angels would circle around him and serve before him (וְהֲווּ מַלְאָכִין עִלָּאִין סָחֲרִין לֵיהּ וּמְשַׁמְּשִׁין קַמֵּיהּ), and they would reveal to him the secrets of their Master (וְרָזִין דְּמָרֵיהוֹן הֲווּ אוֹדְעִין לֵיהּ).

Come and see (תָּא חֲזֵי), at the moment Kudsha Berikh Hu brought him into Gan ‘Eden (בְּשַׁעֲתָא דְּאָעִיל לֵיהּ קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא לְגִנְתָּא דְעֵדֶן), he saw and looked from there into all supernal secrets and all wisdom (הֲוָה חָמֵי וְאִסְתַּכַּל מִתַּמָּן כָּל רָזִין עִלָּאִין וְכָל חָכְמְתָא), to know and gaze upon the glory of his Master (בְּגִין לְמִנְדַע וּלְאִסְתַּכָּלָא בִּיקָרָא דְּמָרֵיהּ).

Seven palaces are chambers are above (שִׁבְעָה הֵיכָלִין מְדוֹרִין אִנּוּן לְעֵילָא), which are the secret of supernal faith (דְּאִנּוּן רָזָא דִּמְהֵימְנוּתָא עִלָּאָה). And seven palaces are below (וְשִׁבְעָה הֵיכָלִין אִנּוּן לְתַתָּא), as in their likeness one opposite the other (כְגוונָא דְּלְהוֹן חַד לְקוּבַּל חַד). Seven chambers of palaces are below (שִׁבְעָה מְדוֹרִין דְּהֵיכָלִין אִנּוּן לְתַתָּא), in the likeness of those above (כְּגַוְונָא דִלְעֵילָא). And six are in the supernal likeness, and one is hidden and concealed above And all of them are in a supernal secret (וְכָל אִלֵּין אִנּוּן בְּרָזָא עִלָּאָה), because all these palaces in have within them the likeness of that which is above (בְּגִין דְּכָל הָנִי הֵיכָלִין אִית בְּהוּ כְּגַוְונָא דִלְעֵילָא), and they have the likeness of that which is below (וְאִית בְּהוּ כְּגַוְונָא דִלְתַתָּא), to be encompassed in the likeness of the secret above and the likeness of the secret below (לְמֶהֱוֵי כָּלִיל בְּדִיוּקְנָא דְרָזָא דִלְעֵילָא וּבִדִיוּקְנָא דְרָזָא דִלְתַתָּא), and in them was the dwelling of Adam (וּבְהוּ הֲוָה דִּיּוּרֵיהּ דְּאָדָם).
