And even though this great love of one for the other never separates forever (וְאַף עַל גַּב דִּרְחִימוּ סַגִי דָּא בְּדָא, דְּלָא מִתְפָּרְשָׁן לְעָלְמִין), from that “every man”, the Master of the House, the Master of the Matronita, from him shall you take My offering (מֵהַהוּא כָּל אִישׁ, מָארֵיהּ בֵּיתָא, מָארִיהּ דְּמַטְרוֹנִיתָא, מִנֵּיהּ תִּקְחוּ אֶת תְּרוּמָתִי). The way of the world is that when one desires to take a wife from a man, he is particular and does not allow her
But Kudsha Berikh Hu is not so It is written: And this is the offering - this is Knesset Yisrael (כְּתִיב וְזֹאת הַתְּרוּמָה, זוֹ כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל), even though all her love is toward Him, and His love is toward her (אַף עַל גַּב דְּכָל רְחִימוּ דִּילָהּ לְגַבֵּיהּ, וּרְחִימוּ דִּילֵיהּ לְגַבָהּ). From Him they take her, to cause dwelling between them, from that supernal place where all love of husband and wife dwells From there: You shall take My offering Blessed is the portion of Yisrael, and blessed are all who have merited this And this is the offering which you shall take from them (Exodus 25). And if you say: if so, it should have said which you shall take from him. Why from them? From two Names (Some say: levels) - these
Furthermore, Rav Yeba Sava said (תּוּ רַב יֵיבָא סָבָא אָמַר): From them - from Final Mem (מֵאִתָּם: מֵאָת ם׳), which is the mystery of the supernal world (דְּאִיהוּ רָזָא דְּעָלְמָא עִלָּאָה), the dwelling place of that Tzaddik who is crowned from the letter Samekh (אֲתָר מָדוֹרֵיהּ דְּהַאי צַדִּיק, דְּאִיהוּ אִתְעַטָּר מֵאָת ס׳), and from there he takes life to provide sustenance to all the worlds (וּמִתַּמָּן נָטִיל חַיִּין, לְאַתְזְנָא לְעָלְמִין כֻּלְּהוּ). And all is one word, a mystery given to the wise
Blessed is their portion (זַכָּאָה חוּלָקֵיהוֹן). For even though they take her, they cannot take her except with the permission of her Husband and with His will, to perform a service of love toward Him And then, With His love you shall take My offering And all this is in those devotions of prayer, and in the arrangements and orders that Yisrael arrange every day Another interpretation: From them - from the inclusion of the six supernal sides, and all is one Another matter: From them - from those times and Sabbaths, and all is one mystery Gold and silver and copper and blue and purple and scarlet
Gold - this is the mystery of the day of Rosh haShanah (זָהָב, בְּרָזָא דְּיוֹמָא דְּרֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה), for it is a day of gold, a day of judgment, and that side rules (דְּאִיהוּ יוֹמָא דְּזָהָב, יוֹמָא דְּדִינָא, וְשָׁלְטָא הַהוּא סִטְרָא), as it is said: From the north gold comes (כְּמָה דְאַתְּ אָמֵר, מִצָּפוֹן זָהָב יֶאֱתֶה) (Job 37). And silver - this is Yom Kippur (וָכֶסֶף, דָּא יוֹם הַכִּפּוּרִים), when the sins of Yisrael are whitened like snow (דְּמִתְלַבְּנָן חוֹבֵיהוֹן דְּיִשְׂרָאֵל כְּתַלְגָּא), as it is said: Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow (כְּמָה דְאַתְּ אָמֵר, אִם יִהְיוּ חֲטָאֵיכֶם כַּשָּׁנִים כַּשֶּׁלֶג יַלְבִּינוּ) (Isaiah 1). And it is written: For on this day shall atonement be made for you to cleanse you
Bronze. The days of the offerings of the festival, (יוֹמֵי דְּקָרְבְּנִין דְּחָג,) which are the aspects of the nations, worshippers of stars and constellations, (דְּאִינּוּן רְתִיכֵי דְּעַמִּין עוֹבְדֵי כּוֹכָבִים וּמַזָּלוֹת,) and they are called the mystery of the mountains of bronze, (וְאִינּוּן אִקְרוּן רָזָא דְּהָרֵי נְחֹשֶׁת,) and because of this they decrease every day and pass away.
And blue, this is Pesach, (וּתְכֵלֶת, דָּא פֶּסַח,) the dominion of the mystery of faith, (שׁוּלְטָנוּ דְּרָזָא דִּמְהֵימְנוּתָא,) the mystery of the color blue, (רָזָא דְּגַוְונָא תִּכְלָא,) and because it is the color of ending, (וּבְגִין דְּהִיא תִּכְלָא,) it did not rule until the striking and killing of all the firstborn of Egypt, (לָא שַׁלְטָא עַד דְּשֵׁצִיאַת וְקַטִּילַת כָּל בּוּכְרֵי דְּמִצְרָאֵי,) as it is said: (Exodus 12) “And Hashem passed to smite Egypt.” Because of this, (בְּגִין כָּךְ,) all colors are good in a dream except for blue.
And argaman, this is Shavuot, (וְאַרְגָמָן, דָּא שְׁבוּעוֹת,) the mystery of purple, (רָזָא דְּאַרְגְוָונָא,) in which the Written Torah was given, (דְּתוֹרָה שֶׁבִּכְתָב דְּאִתְיְהִיבַת בֵּיהּ,) crowned from two sides, (כְּלִילָא מִתְּרֵין סִטְרִין,) from the right and from the left, (מִימִינָא וּמִשְּׂמָאלָא,) as it is said: (Deuteronomy 33) “From His right, a fiery law for them,” (כְּמָה דְאַתְּ אָמֵר מִימִינוֹ אֵשׁ דָּת לָמוֹ,) and this is argaman. And Crimson Worm, this is the fifteenth of Av, (וְתוֹלַעַת שָׁנִי, דָּא אִיהוּ ט״ו בְּאָב,) when the daughters of Yisrael would go out in garments of linen, (דִּבְנוֹת יִשְׂרָאֵל הֲווֹ נַפְקֵי בְּמָאנֵי מִלַּת,) as it is said: (Lamentations 4) “Those brought up in scarlet.”
Until here, six aspects. (עַד הָכָא, שִׁית סִטְרִין,) From here and further, the mystery of the ten days of repentance. And shesh, and goats, and skins of rams dyed red, And skins of tachashim, and acacia wood, (וְעוֹרוֹת תְּחָשִׁים. And oil for light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the incense of spices, (וְשֶׁמֶן לַמָּאֹר. And shoham stones, and stones of filling.
Until here, nine, corresponding to nine days, (עַד הָכָא תִּשְׁעָה, לָקֳבֵל תִּשְׁעָה יוֹמִין,) and Yom Kippur completes to ten. And from all of these, we take the offering of Hashem, (וּמִכָּל אִלֵּין, אֲנָן נַטְלִין תְּרוּמַת יְיָ',) in every time and season, (בְּכָל זִמְנָא וְזִמְנָא,) in order to bring dwelling upon us.
On Rosh Hashanah we take the offering of Hashem, (בְּרֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה אֲנָן נַטְלִין תְּרוּמַת יְיָ',) and it is the mystery of Rosh Hashanah, (וְאִיהוּ רָזָא דְּרֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה,) which comes from the side of gold.
On Yom Kippur we take it, (בְּיוֹם הַכִּפּוּרִים אֲנָן נַטְלִין לָהּ,) and it is Yom Kippur, (וְאִיהִי יוֹם הַכִּפּוּרִים) (Leviticus 16) which is inheritance of the daughter from Imma.
On Sukkot we take it, (בַּסֻּכּוֹת אֲנָן נַטְלִין לָהּ,) and it is the sukkah, covering and protecting over us, (וְאִיהִי סוּכָּה סוֹכֶכֶת וְאַגִינַת עֲלָן,) as it is written: (Numbers 29) “On the eighth day, a solemn assembly shall be for you,” (וּכְתִיב בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁמִינִי עֲצֶרֶת תִּהְיֶה לָכֶם) and this is the offering of Hashem.
At Pesach also, we take it, (בַּפֶסַח אוּף הָכִי אֲנָן נַטְלִין לָהּ,) and it is Pesach. And behold we have established, (וְהָא אוֹקִימְנָא,) the mystery of the color of shining blue. At Shavuot we take it, (בְּשָׁבוּעוֹת אֲנָן נַטְלִין לָהּ,) and it is the two loaves. And it is written: (Exodus 20) “And Elohim spoke all these words, saying,” (וּכְתִיב וַיְדַבֵּר אֱלהִים אֵת כָּל הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה לֵאמֹר,) and we take from the Written Torah, (וַאֲנָן נַטְלִין מִתּוֹרָה שֶׁבִּכְתָב,) and the Oral Torah.
The fifteenth of Av, it exists in joy over the daughters of Yisrael. All the other days are for her Tikkun. And concerning this it is written: “which you shall take from them.”
In the manner that they are unified above in One, (כְּגַוְונָא דְּאִינּוּן מִתְיַיחֲדִין לְעֵילָּא בְּאֶחָד,) so too she is unified below in the mystery of One, (אוּף הָכִי אִיהִי, אִתְיַחֲדַת לְתַתָּא בְּרָזָא דְּאֶחָד,) to be with them above, One corresponding to One. Kudsha Berikh Hu is One above, (קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא אֶחָד לְעֵילָּא,) He does not sit upon the throne of His glory (לָא יָתִיב עַל כּוּרְסְיָיא דִּיקָרֵיהּ,) until she is made in the mystery of One, in His likeness, (עַד דְּאִיהִי אִתְעֲבִידַת בְּרָזָא דְּאֶחָד כְּגַוְונָא דִּילֵיהּ,) to be One in One. And behold we have established the mystery of “Hashem is One and His Name One.”
