Eliyahu opened and said (פָּתַח אֵלִיָּהוּ וְאָמַר): Master of the world, may it be Your will that I speak words in a straight path as is fitting (רִבּוֹן עָלְמָא יְהֵא רַעֲוָא דִילָךְ דְּאֵימָא מִלִּין בְּאֹרַח מִישׁוֹר כִּדְקָא יָאוּת), all in measure, in weight, in the stature of the measure of Your Shekhinta (כֻּלְּהוּ בַּמִּדָּה בַּמִּשְׁקָל בְּשִׁעוּר קוֹמָה דִשְׁכִינְתָּךְ). He opened and said (פָּתַח וְאָמַר): “This your stature is like a palm tree, and your breasts to clusters” (Song of Songs 7) (זֹאת קוֹמָתֵךְ דָּמְתָה לְתָמָר וְשָׁדַיִךְ לְאַשְׁכֹּלוֹת). What is “to a palm tree”? Rather, to that of which it is said: “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree” (Psalms 92) The fronds of palms (כַּפּוֹת תְּמָרִים). Your stature is indeed like the lulav (קוֹמָתֵךְ וַדַּאי דַּמְיָא לְלוּלָב), in which there is no cutting or separation (דְּלֵית בֵּיהּ קִצּוּץ וּפִרוּד). And not in vain did the masters of the Mishnah establish: “If its leaves were separated, it is unfit” (וְלַאו לְמַגָּנָא אוּקְמוּהוּ מָארֵי מַתְנִיתִין נִפְרְצוּ עַלָּיו פָּסוּל). The lulav is like the spine of the body (לוּלָב אִיהוּ דוֹמֶה לְשִׁדְרָה דְּגוּפָא), which is Vav (דְאִיהוּ ו׳), the stature of all (קוֹמָה דְכֹלָּא). And it is six in number (וְאִיהוּ שִׁית בְּחוּשְׁבַּן), and five branches spread from it (וְחָמֵשׁ עַנְפִין מִתְפַּשְׁטִין מִנֵּיהּ). And it is the trunk of the tree in the middle And the five branches are two from this side and three from that side And about them it is said: “And branches of a thick tree and willows of the brook” (Leviticus 23) “Branch” to the left (עֲנַף לִשְׂמָאלָא). “Thick tree” to the right (עָבוֹת לִימִינָא). “Tree” in the middle (עִץ בְּאֶמְצָעִיתָא). “Willows of the brook” two “Thick tree” three (עָבוֹת תְּלַת). And all of them five (וְכֻלְּהוּ חָמֵשׁ). And these correspond to the two thighs and the covenant, and the two arms The etrog is the heart in the middle (אֶתְרוֹג לֵב בְּאֶמְצָעִיתָא), the root of the tree and its branches (עִקָּרָא דְאִילָנָא וְעַנְפּוֹי). And it is the fruit of the tree, making fruit after its kind

The neck is above them all, Imma Ila’ah The brain is Abba (מוֹחָא אַבָּא). And in it is the fountain of the tree (וּבֵיהּ נְבִיעוּ דְאִילָנָא), whose source is called Ein Sof (דִּמְקוֹרָא דִילֵיהּ אִתְקְרֵי אֵין סוֹף). The leaves of the tree are its locks About them it is said: “Your head upon you is like Carmel” (Song of Songs 7) All are green (כֻּלְּהוּ יְרוֹקִין). So must be the hair of the woman, who is the daughter of the King, green like seven kinds of gold And the etrog is green And Esther from there was greenish

The measure of the straps of tefillin is until the heart And so the masters of the Mishnah measured them And so is the measure of the hair of the daughter of the King, until the heart And every branch of her tree, which are the branches of the Menorah (וְכָל עַנְפָא וְעַנְפָא דְאִילָנָא דִילָהּ, דְּאִינוּן קְנֵי מְנוֹרָה), all must be in one measure and one weight (כֻּלְּהוּ צְרִיכִין בַּמִּדָּה וּבַמִּשְׁקָל וּבַמִּדָּה חֲדָא). That no arm be longer than its companion, and no thigh longer than its companion Rather, all of them in measure and weight, this with that And so are His eyes, weighed one to the other And so are His ears (וְהָכִי אוּדְנִין). And so the nostrils of His nose And so His face And so His lips (וְהָכִי שִׂפְוָון דִּילָהּ), that one not be long and the other short (דְּלָא יְהֵא חַד אֲרִיךְ וְחַד קְצִיר), but all of them in one balance (אֶלָּא כֻּלְּהוּ בְשִׁקּוּלָא חֲדָא).

A spring of water must thus give drink and purify the whole body And all is required in measure and in weight like a spring of water And for every limb that is a branch of the tree, in measure and in weight And the sign is: “Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand, and meted out heaven with the span” (Isaiah 40) And: “He made a weight for the wind, and He measured the waters by measure” (Job 28) “Mi - Who” indeed (מִי וַדַּאי). The measure of the spring in this likeness: final Mem, Mem in a square, a point in a circle, squared And the secret of a Mikveh of forty se’ah is in this likeness (וְרָזָא דְמִקְוְה אַרְבָּעִים סְאָה כְּגַוְונָא דָא): nine points to each side (תֵּשַׁע נְקוּדִין לְכָל סְטַר), and in the point in the middle, in it all nine are completed to ten (וּבַנְּקוּדָה דְמִלְּגָאו בָּהּ אִשְׁתַּלִּימוּ לְעִשֶׂר כָּל תִּשְׁעָה), until they are made forty (עַד דְּאִתְעֲבִידוּ אַרְבְּעִין). And these are the forty se’ah And these are the upper Mem and the lower Mem This is in square, and this is in circle Yod is the spring of both And this is the secret of living waters And there are upper branches, and middle branches, and lower branches And all of them are in measure and in weight The upper ones in equal weight one to another The middle ones in equal weight one to another The lower ones in equal weight one to another The upper ones are the Patriarchs The middle ones are the overseers (בֵּינוּנִיִּים מְמַנָּן). The lower ones are their emissaries And all of them have known names (וְכֻלְּהוּ אִית לוֹן שְׁמָהָן יְדִיעָאן), so that the emissaries and the heads and the overseers under them should be recognized (לְאִשְׁתְּמוֹדְעָאן שְׁלִיחָן וְרָאשִׁין וּמְמַנָּן דִּתְחוֹתַיְיהוּ). And each one has a point (וְכָל חַד אִית לֵיהּ נְקוּדָה), and in it is made known each branch that is a limb of the body (וּבֵיהּ אִשְׁתְּמוֹדָע כָּל עַנְפָא וְעַנְפָא דְאִיהוּ אֵבֶר דְּגוּפָא).Letter or vowel-point form preserved from the manuscript

The heads are: Hashem is King, Hashem was King, Hashem will be King Their point is: YHVH is King; YHVH has reigned; YHVH will reign And thus they are below in the two thighs and the cubit And because of this, they doubled them two times: Hashem is King, Hashem was King, Hashem will be King, forever and ever And her point is Hashem And this is the secret: “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him” (Psalms 91) The heads of the heads are the letters of words which are Keter Ila’ah, Chokhmah, Binah “And Hashem shall be King over all the earth; in that day Hashem shall be One and His Name One” (Zechariah 14) And Hashem will be Abba and Imma Hashem will be One and His Name One, the supernal Keter
