The Eleventh Tikkun (תִּקּוּנָא חַד עֲסַר)

This is the Thirty-First Tikkun

Immediately he opened and said And these are six days that Elohim created What is Elohim? The seventh sea (מַאי אלהי''ם יַמָּא שְׁבִיעָאָה). And the secret of the matter (וְרָזָא דְמִלָּה): “All the rivers go to the sea, yet the sea is not full” (Ecclesiastes 1:7) (כָּל הַנְּחָלִים הוֹלְכִים אֶל הַיָּם, וְהַיָּם אֵינֶנּוּ מָלֵא). The supernal ones heard (עִלָּאִין שְׁמָעוּ), the fish that stir in the sea of Orayta (נוּנִין דְּרַחֲשִׁין בְּיַמָּא דְאוֹרַיְיתָא). About it, it is said (עֲלָהּ אִתְּמַר) (Psalms 104:25): “There is the creeping thing without number, living creatures small with great” (שָׁם רֶמֶשׂ וְאֵין מִסְפָּר חַיּוֹת קְטַנּוֹת עִם גְּדוֹלוֹת). And all of them roar for prey And Shekhinta, it is said of her (וּשְׁכִינְתָּא אִתְּמַר בָּהּ) (Proverbs 31:15): “And she gives prey to her household and a portion to her maidens” (וַתִּתֵּן טֶרֶף לְבֵיתָהּ וְחֹק לְנַעֲרֹתֶיהָ).

“All the rivers that go to the sea”-behold they are seven And they are seven maidens fitting to be given to the Holy Mother, who is daughter of seven The sea of Oceanus is inclusive of the seven seas And why is it called Oceanus Because all kinds of waters and fish and stirrings that are not hers come to enter in her She spews them out (אִיהִי מֵקִיא לוֹן), and from there they return to go (וּמִתַּמָּן הֵם שָׁבִים לָלֶכֶת). In the likeness of the Ark of Noach, which did not accept from another species except from those that Kudsha Berikh Hu appointed And because of this, all the rivers that are the Torah scholars, all of them who labor in the Orayta, go to the sea And they seek to enter to the Shekhinta And she does not accept them within her (וְאִיהִי לָא מְקַבְּלָא לוֹן בְּגַוָּוהּ), except for those whom Kudsha Berikh Hu has appointed to enter near her (אֶלָּא לְאִלֵּין דְּמַנִּי קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא לְאַעָלָא לְגַבָּהּ [נ״א: בְּגוֹהָּ]). These are the seven shepherds (דְּאִינוּן שֶׁבַע רוֹעִים), and the tribes that go forth from them (וּלְשִׁבְטִין דְּנָפְקִין מִנַּיְיהוּ). And all who come from their sides and mix with them, the sea receives them and mixes them within her But the others she does not receive (אֲבָל לְאָחֳרָנִין לָא קַבִּילַת לוֹן), and from there they return to go (וּמִתַּמָּן אִינוּן שָׁבִין לָלֶכֶת).

Surely it is the fifth sea Her river is the sixth All those who inherit souls from the sea and her river, with awe and love of Yod-Heh (כָּל אִינוּן דְּיָרְתִין נִשְׁמָתִין מִן יַמָּא וְנַחַל דִּילָהּ, בִּדְחִילוּ וּרְחִימוּ דְּי״ה), she receives them (אִיהִי קַבִּילַת לוֹן). And others who are not the portion of Hashem, she does not receive them (וְאָחֳרָנִין דְּלַאו אִינוּן חֵלֶק יהו''ה אִיהִי לָא קַבִּילַת לוֹן), and casts them out from there (וְדַחְיָא לוֹן מִתַּמָּן), and from there they return to go (וּמִתַּמָּן הֵם שָׁבִין לָלֶכֶת).

They all arose and blessed him (קָמוּ כֻּלְּהוּ וּבָרִיכוּ לֵיהּ), and said (וְאָמְרוּ): “Mouth of the Shekhinta, Sinai, Sinai, blessed are the ears that hear these words from your mouth” (פִּימָא דִשְׁכִינְתָּא, סִינַי סִינַי, זַכָּאִין אוּדְנִין דְּשָׁמְעִין מִלִּין אִלֵּין מִפּוּמָךְ).
