Chapter Eleven (פֶּרֶק אֶחָד עָשָׂר)

These Mishnayot (אֵלוּ הַמִּשְׁנָיוֹת), here below is called a copy from an ancient manuscript (לְהַלָּן נִקְרָא הֶעָתֵק מִכְּתַב יָד עָתִיק), and it appears to be an ancient Midrash (וּכְנִרְאֶה הוּא מִדְרָשׁ קַדְמוֹן). It was written by five great Tzaddikim (כָּתְבוּ חֲמִשָּׁה צַדִּיקִים גְּדוֹלִים), and they are Shimmur the Levi, and Chizkiyah, and Tzidkiyah, and Chaggai the prophet, and Zechariah son of Iddo the prophet (וְהֵם שִׁמּוּר הַלֵּוִי, וְחִזְקִיָּה, וְצִדְקִיָּה, וְחַגַּי הַנָּבִיא, וּזְכַרְיָה בֶן־עִדּוֹ הַנָּבִיא). And they hid the vessels of the Beit HaMikdash (וְהֵם גָּנְזוּ הַכֵּלִים שֶׁל בֵּית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ), and the wealth of the treasures that were in Jerusalem (וְעֹשֶׁר הָאוֹצָרוֹת שֶׁהָיוּ בִּירוּשָׁלַיִם). And they will not be revealed until the day that Mashiach ben David comes, speedily in our days (וְלֹא יִתְגַּלוּ עַד יוֹם בּוֹא מָשִׁיחַ בֶּן דָּוִד), amen, so may it be His will (בִּמְהֵרָה בְיָמֵינוּ אָמֵן כֵּן יְהִי רָצוֹן).
