Chapter One (פֶּרֶק רִאשׁוֹן)

Because these three, namely Keter, Chokhmah, and Binah, of the Malkhut of Adam Kadmon are revealed (לִהְיוֹת שֶׁאֵלּוּ הַשְּׁלֹשָׁה, דְּהַיְינוּ כֶּתֶר, חָכְמָה, בִּינָה, מִן מַלְכוּת אָדָם קַדְמוֹן, הֵם מְגֻלִּים), and they are called the Reisha DeLa Ityada [Unknowable Head] (וְהֵם נִקְרָאִים רֵישָׁא דְלָא־אִתְיְדַע), for every head is revealed (כִּי כָּל רֹאשׁ הוּא מְגֻלֶּה), and the garment of a person does not cover the head (וְאֵין הַלְּבוּשׁ שֶׁל הַבֶּן אָדָם מְכַסֶּה הָרֹאשׁ), so it is above, as it were (כֵּן הוּא לְמַעְלָה, כִּבְיָכוֹל), the head is revealed (הָרֹאשׁ הוּא מְגֻלֶּה), and is not covered by the Reisha DeEin [Head of Nothingness] and Arich Anpin (וְאֵינוֹ מְכֻסֶּה מֵאֵין וַאֲרִיךְ), therefore they are called Reisha [Head] (לָזֶה הֵם נִקְרָאִים רֵישָׁא), and it is the head of the Reisha DeLa Ityada [Unknowable Head] (וְהוּא הָרֹאשׁ שֶׁל רֵישָׁא דְלָא אִתְיְדַע). And its Keter is called Reisha DeLav Reisha [Head that is not a Head] (וְכֶתֶר שֶׁלָּהּ נִקְרָא רֵישָׁא דְלָאו רֵישָׁא), and its Chokhmah is called Reisha DeLa Yada [Head that is not Known] (וְחָכְמָה שֶׁלָּהּ נִקְרָא רֵישָׁא דְלָא יְדַע), and its Binah is called Reisha DeLa Ityada [Unknowable Head] (וּבִינָה שֶׁלָּהּ נִקְרָא רֵישָׁא דְלָא אִתְיְדַע), and I explained their reasons above (וְטַעְמָם בֵּאַרְתִּי), in Gate Ten and in Gate Nine (לְמַעְלָה בְּשַׁעַר הָעֲשִׂירִי וּבְשַׁעַר הַתְּשִׁיעִי), see there (עַיֵּן שָׁם). Thus, the Keter, Chokhmah, and Binah of the Malkhut of Adam Kadmon are revealed (נִמְצָא שֶׁכֶּתֶר חָכְמָה בִּינָה שֶׁל מַלְכוּת אָדָם קַדְמוֹן הֵם מְגֻלִּים), while its seven lower Sefirot are concealed by the Reisha DeEin [Head of Nothingness] and Arich Anpin (וְהַשִּׁבְעָה שֶׁלָּהּ הֵם מְכֻסִּים מֵאֵין וַאֲרִיךְ), and entered into the Reisha DeEin [Head of Nothingness] itself (וְנִכְנְסוּ בְּתוֹךְ אֵין מַמָּשׁ), namely that the seven of the Malkhut of Adam Kadmon entered into the revealed Gulgalta [Skull] of the Reisha DeEin [Head of Nothingness] (דְּהַיְינוּ שֶׁהַשִּׁבְעָה שֶׁל מַלְכוּת אָדָם קַדְמוֹן נִכְנְסוּ בְּתוֹךְ הַגֻּלְגַּלְתָּא דְאֵין הַמְגֻלָּה), which is the upper third of its Keter, of the Malkhut of Adam Kadmon (שֶׁהוּא שְׁלִישׁ כֶּתֶר שֶׁלָּהּ [שֶׁל מַלְכוּת אָדָם קַדְמוֹן]). And there, within this Gulgalta [Skull], they made seven Tikkunim [Rectifications] (וְעָשׂוּ שָׁם בַּגֻּלְגַּלְתָּא הַזֹּאת ז׳ תִּיקּוּנִים), and the Reisha DeEin [Head of Nothingness] serves as a Parsa [Partition] for them (וְאֵין הוּא בְּסוֹד פַּרְסָה לָהֶם), and Arich Anpin serves as a Parsa [Partition] for the Reisha DeEin [Head of Nothingness] (וַאֲרִיךְ לְאֵין בְּסוֹד פַּרְסָה), but the Reisha DeEin [Head of Nothingness] entered into Arich Anpin itself in the secret of Ohr Penimi [Inner Light] (אֲבָל אֵין נִכְנַס בְּתוֹךְ אֲרִיךְ מַמָּשׁ בְּסוֹד אוֹר פְּנִימִי).
