Chapter 1, Section 4 (פֶּרֶק א׳ אוֹת ד׳)

4. Greater than all (ד גְּדוֹלָה מִכֻּלָּם): that anyone who lifts his hand against him and strikes him (שֶׁכָּל הַמַּגְבִּיהַ יָדוֹ עָלָיו וּמַכֵּהוּ), they clothe him in Tzara‘at [Leprous Affliction] (מַלְבִּישִׁין אוֹתוֹ צָרַעַת) and crown him with a Baheret [Bright Spot] (וּמְעַטְּרִים אוֹתוֹ בַּהֶרֶת); greater than all (גְּדוֹלָה מִכֻּלָּם): that anyone who speaks lashon hara about him (שֶׁכָּל הַמְסַפֵּר עָלָיו לָשׁוֹן הָרַע), they cast him down and hurl him upon afflictions of vegetation, bruises, and wounds (מַטִּילִין וּמַשְׁלִיכִין אוֹתוֹ עַל מַכּוֹת צְמָחִים וַחֲבֻרוֹת וּפְצָעִים), from which comes dripping, moist discharge (שֶׁיּוֹרְדִין מֵהֶם שְׁתִין לַח).
