Chapter 1, Section 5 (פֶּרֶק א׳ אוֹת ה׳)

5. Greater than all (ה גְּדוֹלָה מִכֻּלָּם): that anyone who lifts his hand against him (שֶׁכָּל הַמַּגְבִּיהַ יָדוֹ), he is separated from all human beings (שֶׁהוּא מֻבְדָּל מִכָּל בְּנֵי אָדָם), and he is bewildered before every kind of person (וְנִבְהָל בְּכָל מִינֵי בְּנֵי אָדָם), in all his qualities (בְּכָל מִדּוֹתָיו), and is honored above and below (וְנִכְבָּד עַל הָעֶלְיוֹנִים וְעַל הַתַּחְתּוֹנִים). And anyone who stumbles against him stumbles great and evil stumblings (וְכָל מִי שֶׁהוּא נִכְשָׁל בּוֹ, נִכְשָׁלוֹת גְּדוֹלוֹת וְרָעוֹת), and degradations fall upon him from Heaven (וְטִפְלוּיוֹת עָלָיו מִן שָׁמַיִם), and anyone who lays a hand upon him (וְכָל מִי שֶׁשּׁוֹלֵחַ בּוֹ יָד), the Heavenly Court sends a hand against him (בֵּית דִּין שֶׁל מַעְלָה שׁוֹלְחִין בּוֹ יָד).
