Chapter 14, Section 1 (פֶּרֶק י״ד אוֹת א׳)

1. Nullifiers of decree (א. מְבַטְּלֵי גְּזֵרָה), breakers of oath (מְפִירֵי שְׁבוּעָה), removers of wrath (מַעֲבִירֵי חֵמָה), turners back of jealousy (מְשִׁיבֵי קִנְאָה), mentioners of love (מַזְכִּירֵי אַהֲבָה), the love of Avraham our father (אַהֲבָתוֹ שֶׁל אַבְרָהָם אָבִינוּ), before their King (לִפְנֵי מַלְכָּם), when they would see Him angry with His children (כְּשֶׁהָיוּ רוֹאִין אוֹתוֹ שֶׁהוּא כּוֹעֵס עַל בָּנָיו), what would they do? (מָה הֵן עוֹשִׂין), they strike their crowns (מַחְבְּטִין כְּתָרֵיהֶן), loosen their belts (וּמַתִּירִין אֶת מָתְנֵיהֶם), and beat upon their heads (וּמַכִּין עַל רֹאשָׁם), and fall on their faces (וְנוֹפְלִים עַל פְּנֵיהֶם), and say: “Release! Release!” (וְאוֹמְרִים הַתֵּר הַתֵּר), “Creator of Bereishit” (יוֹצֵר בְּרֵאשִׁית), “Selah! Selah!” (סֶלָה סֶלָה), “Mighty One of Yaakov” (אַבִּיר יַעֲקֹב), “Pardon! Pardon!” (מְחֹל מְחֹל), “Holy One of Yisrael” (קְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל), “for You are Mighty among kings” (כִּי אַדִּיר מְלָכִים אַתָּה).
