Chapter 13, Section 4 (פֶּרֶק י״ג אוֹת ד׳)

4. Each and every day (ד. בְּכָל יוֹם וָיוֹם), at the arrival of the Minchah prayer (בְּהַגִּיעַ תְּפִלַּת הַמִּנְחָה), the King of Glory sits (מֶלֶךְ הַדּוֹר יוֹשֵׁב), and exalts the Chayot (וּמְרוֹמֵם לַחַיּוֹת), before a word is finished from His mouth (עַד שֶׁלֹּא יִכְלֶה דָבָר מִפִּיו), the Chayot haKodesh go forth from beneath the Throne of Glory (חַיּוֹת הַקֹּדֶשׁ יוֹצְאוֹת מִתַּחַת כִּסֵּא הַכָּבוֹד), and their mouths are filled with song (וּפִיהֶם מָלֵא רִנָּה), their wings with rejoicing (בְּכַנְפֵיהֶם מָלֵא גִּילָה), their hands play music (יְדֵיהֶם מְנַגְּנוֹת), and their feet dance (וְרַגְלֵיהֶם מְרַקְּדוֹת), and they circle and surround their King (וּמַקִּיפוֹת וְסוֹבְבוֹת אֶת מַלְכָּם), one to His right and one to His left (אַחַת מִימִינוֹ וְאַחַת מִשְּׂמֹאלוֹ), one before Him and one behind Him (אַחַת מִלְּפָנָיו וְאַחַת מֵאַחֲרָיו), and they embrace and kiss Him (וּמְגַפְּפוֹת וּמְנַשְּׁקוֹת אוֹתוֹ), and they uncover their faces (וּמְפָרְעוֹת פְּנֵיהֶן), they uncover (הֵן מְפָרְעוֹת), and the King of Glory covers His face (וּמֶלֶךְ הַכָּבוֹד מְכַסֶּה פָנָיו), and the Aravot Raki‘a splits open (וְהָיָה עֲרָבוֹת רָקִיעַ מִתְבַּקֵּעַ), before the King of Splendor (מִפְּנֵי מֶלֶךְ הָדָר), the radiance of beauty (זִיו יֹפִי), the form of delight (תֹּאַר חֶמְדַּת), compassion (חֶמְלַת), longing (תַּאֲוַת), Zohar (זוֹהַר), the crown of which (הַנֵּזֶר שֶׁבָּהּ), the appearance of their faces (מַרְאֵה פְּנֵיהֶם), as the matter that is said: “Holy, holy, holy is Hashem, Master of Hosts...” (כְּדָבָר שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר קָדוֹשׁ קָדוֹשׁ קָדוֹשׁ ה׳ צְבָאוֹת).
