Chapter 19, Section 6 (פֶּרֶק י״ט אוֹת ו׳)

6. Because the gatekeepers of the sixth Heikhal (ו. מִפְּנֵי שֶׁשׁוֹמְרֵי הֵיכָל הַשִּׁשִּׁי), would destroy among the Riders Merkavah (הָיוּ מַשְׁחִיתִין בְּיוֹרְדֵי מֶרְכָּבָה), and not among Riders of the Merkavah who descend without permission (וְלֹא בְּיוֹרְדֵי מֶרְכָּבָה שֶׁלֹּא בִּרְשׁוּת), and they were marked against them (וְהָיוּ מְצוּיָן עֲלֵיהֶן), and would strike them (וּמַכִּין אוֹתָן), and burn them (וְשׂוֹרְפִים אוֹתָם), and place others in their stead (וּמַעֲמִידִים אֲחֵרִים בִּמְקוֹמָם). And even those others who stood in their place (וְאַף אֲחֵרִים הָעוֹמְדִים תַּחְתֵּיהֶם), such is their nature (כָּךְ הִיא מִדָּתָם): they are not afraid (אֵינָם מִתְיָרְאִים), nor do they consider in their hearts to say (וְלֹא מַעֲלִים עַל הַלֵּב לוֹמַר): “Why are we being burned?” (לָמָּה אֲנַחְנוּ נִשְׂרָפִים), “What benefit is there for us (וְכִי מַה הֲנָאָה יֵשׁ לָנוּ), that we destroy among Riders of the Merkavah (שֶׁאֲנַחְנוּ מַשְׁחִיתִין בְּיוֹרְדֵי מֶרְכָּבָה), and not among Riders Merkavah who descend without permission?” (וְלֹא בְּיוֹרְדֵי מֶרְכָּבָה שֶׁלֹּא בִּרְשׁוּת). And still, such is the nature of the gatekeepers of the entrance to the sixth Heikhal (וְעֲדַיִן כָּךְ הִיא מִדָּתָם שֶׁל שׁוֹמְרֵי פֶתַח הֵיכָל הַשִּׁשִּׁי).
