Chapter 2, Section 2 (פֶּרֶק ב׳ אוֹת ב׳)

2. Greater than all (בּ גְּדוֹלָה מִכֻּלָּם): that anyone who brazenly shows his face against him (שֶׁכָּל הַמֵּעִיז פָּנָיו בּוֹ), the radiance of the orbit of his eye is struck (מַכִּין מְאוֹר גַּלְגַּל עֵינָיו). Greater than all (גְּדוֹלָה מִכֻּלָּם): that anyone who scorns him (שֶׁכָּל הַבּוֹזֶה), he leaves behind neither root nor branch nor even heir (אֵינוֹ עוֹזֵב לֹא שֹׁרֶשׁ וְלֹא עָנָף אַף לֹא יוֹרֵשׁ). Greater than all (גְּדוֹלָה מִכֻּלָּם): that anyone who speaks disgracefully of him (שֶׁכָּל הַמְסַפֵּר בִּגְנוּתוֹ), they bring upon him destruction and turmoil (מֵבִיאִים עָלָיו כָּלָה וּמְהוּמָה), and there is no mercy upon him (וְאֵין חוֹמְלִין).
