Chapter 32, Section 2 (פֶּרֶק ל״ב אוֹת ב׳)

2. For in the First Temple I did not engage with Myself and with My children in this voice (ב. שֶׁמִּקְדָּשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן לֹא נִזְקַקְתִּי לִי וּלְבָנַי בְּקוֹל זֶה), nor with all My attendants and with My Throne (וּלְכָל מְשָׁרְתַּי וּלְכִסְאִי). And would that My children-(וְהַלְוַאי בָּנַי): Why do you fall upon your faces? (לָמָּה אַתֶּם נוֹפְלִים עַל פְּנֵיכֶם) Arise, and return before My Throne (עִמְדוּ וְשׁוּבוּ לִפְנֵי כִסְאִי), in the measure that you sit in yeshivah (בַּמִּדָּה שֶׁאַתֶּם יוֹשְׁבִים בִּישִׁיבָה), and take hold of the crown (וְתִּפְשׂוּ כֶּתֶר), and receive the seal (וְקַבְּלוּ חוֹתָם), and study the seal (וְלִמְדוּ חוֹתָם), and study this Torah scroll (וְלִמְדוּ סֵפֶר תּוֹרָה זֶה), how you shall interpret it (הֵיאַךְ תִּדְרְשׁוּהוּ), and how you shall use it (וְהֵיאַךְ תִּשְׁתַּמְּשׁוּ בוֹ), for it elevates the pathways of your heart (כִּי הִיא מַעֲלִין נְתִיבוֹת לְבַבְכֶם).
