Chapter 4, Section 3 (פֶּרֶק ד׳ אוֹת ג׳)
3. And engraved and filled entirely, from within and from without, with Hashem, Hashem (ג וְחָקוּק וּמָלֵא כֻלּוֹ מִבִּפְנִים וּמִן הַחִיצוֹן ה׳ ה׳), and no creature’s eyes are able to gaze upon Him (וְעֵינֵי כָל בְּרִיָּה אֵינָן יְכוֹלוֹת לְהִסְתַּכֵּל), not the eyes of flesh and blood nor the eyes of His servants (לֹא עֵינֵי בָשָׂר וָדָם וְלֹא עֵינֵי מְשָׁרְתָיו), and one who gazes at Him or peers at Him or sees Him (וְהַמִּסְתַּכֵּל בּוֹ וְהַמַּצִּיץ בּוֹ וְהָרוֹאֶה אוֹתוֹ), grasping comes upon him from the vision of His eye-spheres (אוֹחֲזָתוֹ מַחֲזִיּוֹת לְגַלְגַּלֵּי עֵינָיו), and His eye-spheres emit and send forth fire-flames (וְגַלְגַּלֵּי עֵינָיו מְפַלְּטִין וּמוֹצִיאִין לַפִּידֵי אֵשׁ), and they burn and they consume him (וְהֵם מְלַהֲטִין וְהֵם שׂוֹרְפִין אוֹתוֹ), the fire that comes from the mouth of the man who gazes (הָאֵשׁ הַיּוֹצֵאת מִפִּי אָדָם הַמִּסְתַּכֵּל), it burns them and it consumes them (הִיא מְלַהֶטֶת אוֹתָן וְהִיא שׂוֹרֶפֶת אוֹתָן). Why is this? Because of the law of the eyes of VeHadri’el, Hashem God of Yisrael (מִפְּנֵי מָה? מִפְּנֵי דַּת עֵינַיִם שֶׁל וְהַדְרִיאֵ״ל ה׳ אֱלֹקֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל), who is crowned and comes upon the Throne of His Glory (שֶׁמְעֻטָּר וּבָא עַל כִּסֵּא כְּבוֹדוֹ).
