Chapter 6, Section 5 (פֶּרֶק ו׳ אוֹת ה׳)

5. When I heard the mighty voice (ה כְּיוָן שֶׁשָּׁמַעְתִּי אֶת הַקּוֹל הַחָזָק), I was shaken and silenced and fell backward (נִבְעַתִּי וְנִדְמֵיתִי וְנָפַלְתִּי לַאֲחוֹרַי), until Hadarni’el the prince came (עַד שֶׁבָּא הֲדַרְנִיאֵ״ל הַשָּׂר), and placed in me strength and soul (וְנָתַן בִּי כֹּחַ וְנְשָׁמָה), and set me upon my feet (וְהֶעֱמִידַנִי עַל רַגְלַי). And he said to me: “Beloved, what has come upon you?” (וְאָמַר לִי: יְדִיד, מַה עָלְתָה לְךָ). I said: “Splendor of the height, perhaps Yisrael has no hope of repair?” (אָמַרְתִּי: הֲדַר זִיו מָרוֹם, שֶׁמָּא אֵין לָהֶם תִּקּוּן לְיִשְׂרָאֵל). He said to me: “My beloved, come and I will bring you into the treasuries of consolations and the treasuries of salvations” (אָמַר לִי: יְדִידִי, בּוֹא וְאַכְנִיסְךָ לְגִנְזֵי נֶחָמוֹת וּגְנְזֵי יְשׁוּעוֹת). He brought me into the treasuries of salvations and the treasuries of consolations (הִכְנִיסַנִי לְגִנְזֵי יְשׁוּעוֹת גִּנְזֵי נֶחָמוֹת), and I saw companies of ministering angels sitting and weaving garments of salvation (וְרָאִיתִי כִּתּוֹת שֶׁל מַלְאֲכֵי הַשָּׁרֵת יוֹשְׁבִין וְאוֹרְגִין בִּגְדֵי יְשׁוּעָה), making crowns of life (עוֹשִׂין כִּתְרֵי חַיִּים), and setting in them precious stones and pearls (וְקוֹבְעִין בָּהֶם אֲבָנִים טוֹבוֹת וּמַרְגְּלִיּוֹת), and compounding all types of spices (וּמְרַקְּחִין כָּל מִינֵי בְשָׂמִים), and sweetening wines for the Tzaddikim (וּמְמַתְּקִין יֵינָם לַצַּדִּיקִים). And I saw one crown, unique (וְרָאִיתִי כֶּתֶר אֶחָד מְשֻׁנֶּה), with the sun and the moon and the twelve constellations fixed in it (וְחַמָּה וּלְבָנָה וּשְׁנֵים עָשָׂר מַזָּלוֹת קְבוּעִים בּוֹ). I said to him: “Splendor of the height-these crowns, for whom are they?” (אָמַרְתִּי לוֹ: הֲדַר זִיו מָרוֹם, כְּתָרִים הַלָּלוּ לְמִי). He said to me: “For David, King of Yisrael” (אָמַר לִי: לְדָוִד מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל). I said to him: “Splendor of the height, show me the glory of David” (אָמַרְתִּי לוֹ: הֲדַר זִיו מָרוֹם, הַרְאֵנִי אֶת כְּבוֹדוֹ שֶׁל דָּוִד). He said to me: “Wait, my beloved, a few hours (אָמַר לִי: הַמְתֵּן יְדִידִי שָׁעוֹת), until David, King of Yisrael, comes here and you will see him in his greatness” (עַד שֶׁיָּבוֹא דָּוִד מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּכָאן וְתִרְאֶה בִגְדֻלָּתוֹ).
