Chapter 7, Section 3 (פֶּרֶק ז׳ אוֹת ג׳)

3. Rabbi Yishma’el said (ג אָמַר רַבִּי יִשְׁמָעֵאל): when I came and made this known from before the Throne of Glory (כְּשֶׁבָּאתִי וְהוֹדַעְתִּי זוֹ מִלִּפְנֵי כִּסֵּא הַכָּבוֹד), all the companions rejoiced (שָׂמְחוּ כָּל הַחֲבֵרִים), and made a day of feasting and joy (וְעָשׂוּ יוֹם מִשְׁתֶּה וְשִׂמְחָה). And not only this, but the princes said in their joy (וְלֹא עוֹד אֶלָּא שֶׁאָמְרוּ הַנְּשִׂיאִים בְּשִׂמְחָתָן): “Bring before us kinds of music (הָבִיאוּ לְפָנֵינוּ מִינֵי זֶמֶר), and let us drink with them (וְנִשְׁתֶּה בָהֶם), since VeHadri’el, Hashem God of Yisrael, is destined to bring vengeance (הוֹאִיל וְעָתִיד וְהַדְרִיאֵ״ל ה׳ אֱלֹקֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לַעֲשׂוֹת נְקָמָה), and wonders, and wonder of wonders (וּנִפְלָאוֹת וּפֶלֶא פְּלָאוֹת), upon wicked Rome (בְּרוֹמִי הָרְשָׁעָה), and we shall rejoice with the joy of harp and lyre” (וְנָגִילָה בְּשִׂמְחַת כִּנוֹר וְעוּגָב).
