Chapter 7, Section 2 (פֶּרֶק ז׳ אוֹת ב׳)

2. When David ascended to the Temple in the firmament (ב כֵּיוָן שֶׁעָלָה דָּוִד לְבֵית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ שֶׁבָּרָקִיעַ), there was prepared for him a throne of fire (מוּכָן לוֹ כִּסֵּא שֶׁל אֵשׁ), which is forty parsaot high (שֶׁהוּא אַרְבָּעִים פַּרְסָאוֹת גֹּבַהּ), double its length and double its width (כְּפָלִים אָרְכּוֹ וּכְפָלִים רָחְבוֹ). When David came and sat upon the throne prepared for him opposite the Throne of his Creator (כֵּיוָן שֶׁבָּא דָּוִד וְיָשַׁב לוֹ עַל הַכִּסֵּא שֶׁמוּכָן לוֹ כְּנֶגֶד כִּסֵּא קוֹנוֹ), and all the kings of the House of David sit before him (וְכָל מַלְכֵי בֵית דָּוִד יוֹשְׁבִין לְפָנָיו), and all the kings of Yisrael sit behind him (וְכָל מַלְכֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יוֹשְׁבִין מֵאַחֲרָיו), immediately David arose and said songs and praises that no human had ever heard (מִיָּד עָמַד דָּוִד וְאָמַר שִׁירוֹת וּתְשְׁבָּחוֹת שֶׁלֹּא שָׁמְעָן אָדָם מֵעוֹלָם). And when David opened and said “Hashem shall reign forever” (וּכְשֶׁפָּתַח דָּוִד וְאָמַר: יִמְלֹךְ ה׳ לְעוֹלָם) - (Psalms 146:10) - Metatron opened and all his entourage said (פָּתַח מְטַטְרוֹ״ן וְכָל פַּמַלְיָיא שֶׁלּוֹ): “Holy, holy, holy is Hashem of Hosts” (קָדוֹשׁ קָדוֹשׁ קָדוֹשׁ ה׳ צְבָאוֹת), and the Chayot praised and said (וְהַחַיּוֹת מְשַׁבְּחוֹת וְאוֹמְרוֹת): “Blessed is the Glory of Hashem from His place” (בָּרוּךְ כְּבוֹד ה׳ מִמְּקוֹמוֹ) - (Ezekiel 3:12). And the firmaments say: “Hashem shall reign forever” (וְהָרְקִיעִים אוֹמְרִים: יִמְלֹךְ ה׳ לְעוֹלָם) - (Psalms 146:10), and the earth says: “Hashem is King, Hashem was King” (וְהָאָרֶץ אוֹמֶרֶת: ה׳ מָלָךְ, ה׳ מָלַךְ), and all the kings of the House of David [declare]: “Hashem shall be King over all the earth” (וְכָל מַלְכֵי בֵית דָּוִד: וְהָיָה ה׳ לְמֶלֶךְ עַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ) - (Zechariah 14:9).
