Chapter 9, Section 1 (פֶּרֶק ט׳ אוֹת א׳)

1. Rabbi Yishma’el said (א אָמַר רַבִּי יִשְׁמָעֵאל): Suri’a, Prince of the Presence, my friend, told me (סַח לִי סוּרִי״א שַׂר הַפָּנִים יְדִידִי): “I will tell you the praise of the King and His Throne” (אוֹמֵר לְךָ שִׁבְחוֹ שֶׁל מֶלֶךְ וְכִסְאוֹ). Therefore it is said (לְכָךְ נֶאֱמַר): ‘Throne of Your Glory upon high, exalted upon the Keruvim’ (כִּסֵּא כְבוֹדְךָ עַל כְּרוּבֵי מַעֲלָה רוֹמֵמֶת), and the seven Ofanim bear them (וְאוֹפַנֵּי שִׁבְעָה נוֹשְׂאִים אוֹתָן), and creatures of frost and vapor (וּבְרִיּוֹת כְּפוֹר וְקִיטוֹר), and creatures of flame (וּבְרִיּוֹת דְּלֵקָה), adorned with majesty and shame (מְעוּטָּרוֹת בִּגְאוּת וּבְזִיוּן), and the eyes of Shaddai are lifted toward them (וְעֵינֵי שַׁדַּי נְשׂוּאוֹת בָּהֶם), and they drew beneath Him like does beneath the plow (וְהָיוּ מוֹשְׁכוֹת תַּחְתָּיו כָּאַיָּלוֹת תַּחַת הַמַּחֲרֵשָׁה), and He was stretched out over their heads in might, strength, and power (וְהָיָה נָטוּי עַל רָאשֵׁיהֶם כְּעֹז תּוֹקֶף וּגְבוּרָה), as the matter that is said: “Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh, Hashem Tzevaot…” (כְּדָבָר שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר: קָדוֹשׁ קָדוֹשׁ קָדוֹשׁ ה׳ צְבָאוֹת וגו׳).
