Chapter 8, Section 5 (פֶּרֶק ח׳ אוֹת ה׳)

5. Because a proclamation goes forth from the heights of the firmament (ה מִפְּנֵי שֶׁהַכְּרוּז יוֹצֵא מֵעַרְבוֹת רָקִיעַ), it proclaims and says in the heavenly court (מַכְרִיז וְאוֹמֵר בְּבֵית דִּין שֶׁל מַעְלָה): “A thought that wicked Rome thought against the mighty ones of Yisrael, to destroy them (מַחֲשָׁבָה שֶׁחָשְׁבָה רוֹמִי הָרְשָׁעָה עַל אַבִּירֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לַאֲבָדָם), and VeHadri’el, Hashem God of Yisrael, had agreed” (וְהַדְרִיאֵ״ל ה׳ אֱלֹקֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הָיָה מַסְכִּים), yet even so, after the thought that wicked Rome imagined (וְאַף עַל פִּי כֵן אַחֲרֵי הֶהָרְהוּר שֶׁרוֹמִי הָרְשָׁעָה מְחַשֶּׁבֶת), the thought is considered as if it were already done” (מַחֲשָׁבָה הֲרֵי הִיא כְּאִילוּ עֲשָׂאוּהָ).
