That they are supervised with specific and individual providence (שֶׁהֵם מוּשְׁגָּחִים הַשְׁגָּחָה פְּרָטִית וּמְיֻחֶדֶת), and they have a great status and advantage over all the inhabitants of the earth (וְיֵשׁ לָהֶם מַעֲלָה וְיִתְרוֹן גָּדוֹל עַל כָּל יוֹשְׁבֵי תֵבֵל). And so it is written: “And to set you on high…” And that which is written in their saying: “And from Sinai in the future,” it announces to us good tidings (וּמַה שֶּׁכָּתוּב בְּאָמְרָם "וּמִסִּינַי לֶעָתִיד", מְבַשֵּׂר לָנוּ בְּשׂוֹרָה טוֹבָה), and this is that Yisrael are destined to receive the countenance of the Shekinah as at first, as at the Sea and at Sinai (וְזֶה, שֶׁעֲתִידִין יִשְׂרָאֵל לְהַקְבִּיל פְּנֵי הַשְּׁכִינָה כַּאֲשֶׁר בַּתְּחִלָּה כְּמוֹ בַּיָּם וּבְסִינַי).

The explanation: just as Yisrael attained the level of prophecy at Mount Sinai (פֵּרוּשׁ, כְּמוֹ שֶׁהִשִּׂיגוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל מַעֲלַת הַנְּבוּאָה בְּהַר סִינַי), which came to them from that Sefirah called “Sea,” which is Malkhut (אֲשֶׁר בָּא לָהֶם מֵאוֹתָהּ סְפִירָה שֶׁנִּקְרֵאת יָם, שֶׁהִיא מַלְכוּת), so may we receive it speedily in our days, Amen (כָּךְ נְקַבֵּל בְּמְהֵרָה בְּיָמֵינוּ, אָמֵן). And I will also explain to you the explanation of “Amen” (וְגַם כֵּן אֲפָרֵשׁ לְךָ פֵּרוּשׁ "אָמֵן).

Amen (אָמֵן) equals ten in Mispar katan [reduced numerical value], corresponding to the tenth Sefirah, which is Malkhut (אָמֵן עוֹלֶה עֶשֶׂר בְּמִסְפָּר קָטָן, כְּנֶגֶד הַסְּפִירָה הָעֲשִׂירִית שֶׁהִיא מַלְכוּת), and she is the first to us, and she is Adonai (וְהִיא רִאשׁוֹנָה אֵלֵינוּ וְהִיא אֲדנ״י), in which are hinted blow and blessing by their numbers, as you know (שֶׁבָּהּ רְמוּזִים מַכֶּה וּבְרָכָה בְּמִסְפָּרָם, כַּאֲשֶׁר יָדַעְתָּ). And also Amen equals ninety-one-Shem Havayah and Shem Adonai (וְגַם כֵּן אָמֵן עוֹלֶה צ״א – שֵׁם הוי״ה וְשֵׁם אֲדנ״י), and it comes to teach us: when Shem 26 is joined and unified with Shem 65 (וּבָא לְלַמְּדֵנוּ, כְּשֶׁיִּתְחַבֵּר וּכְשֶׁיִּתְיַחֵד שֵׁם כ״ו עִם שֵׁם ס״ה), then the power of blow is weakened and diminished, and the power of blessing is strengthened and reinforced (אָז מִתְיַשׁ וּמַחְלִישׁ כֹּחַ מַכֶּה וּמִתְגַּבֵּר וּמִתְחַזֵּק כֹּחַ בְּרָכָה). And also Shem 26 has another level, which is that in Mispar katan [reduced numerical] it equals seventeen (וְגַם כֵּן שֵׁם כ״ו יֵשׁ לוֹ מַעֲלָה אַחֶרֶת, וְהִיא שֶׁבְּמִסְפָּר קָטָן עוֹלֶה י״ז), and four letters bring it to the count of twenty-one, corresponding to Keter, which is Ehyeh (וְד׳ אוֹתִיּוֹת, עוֹלֶה לְמִנְיָן כ״א כְּנֶגֶד כֶּתֶר שֶׁהוּא אֶהְיֶה).

And this Name, in Mispar katan [reduced numerical, rises to twelve, which corresponds to the twelve Havayot, all of which add up to twelve The letter Shin corresponds to compassion, for so does Shem 26 equal in Atbash (ש׳ כְּנֶגֶד בְּרַחֲמִים, שֶׁכָּךְ עוֹלֶה שֵׁם כ״ו בְּאַ״ת ב״ש), and twelve corresponds to Ehyeh, for so it equals in mispar katan (וְי״ב כְּנֶגֶד אֶהְיֶה, שֶׁכָּךְ עוֹלֶה בְּמִסְפָּר קָטָן). And it comes to inform us: that when these twelve Havayot, which are hinted in Shem Ehyeh, all bestow upon Kenesset Yisrael together as one (וּבָא לְהוֹדִיעֵנוּ, כִּי בִּזְמַן שׁי״ב הוי״וֹת הָאֵלֶּה הַרְּמוּזוֹת בַּשֵּׁם אֶהְיֶה מַשְׁפִּיעוֹת בִּכְנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל כֻּלָּן כְּאֶחָד), then there shall be blessing for Yisrael (אָז תִּהְיֶה בְּרָכָה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל). And when they are distant and separated from the place of the stature of the twelve tribes, which is Kenesset Yisrael (וּכְשֶׁהֵן רְחוֹקוֹת וּנְבְדָלוֹת מִמְּקוֹם מַעֲלַת י״ב שְׁבָטִים שֶׁהִיא כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל), then these twelve Havayot influence the twelve constellations, from which the nations of the world, who are under the rule of the twelve constellations, receive sustenance (אָז י״ב הוי״וֹת הָאֵלֶּה מַשְׁפִּיעוֹת עַל י״ב מַזָּלוֹת שֶׁמִּשָּׁם נִיזּוֹנִין אוּמוֹת הָעוֹלָם אֲשֶׁר תַּחַת מֶמְשֶׁלֶת י״ב מַזָּלוֹת). And the sins of Yisrael caused the nations to become proud in their success (וַעֲוֹנוֹתֵיהֶם שֶׁל יִשְׂרָאֵל גָּרְמוּ שֶׁיִּתְגָּאוּ הָאוּמוֹת בְּהַצְלָחָתָם), and that Yisrael be struck and afflicted under their hand (וְשֶׁיִּהְיוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל מֻכִּים וּמְעוּנִים תַּחַת יָדָם).

And now I will inform you of the secret of “Barukh Atah” (וְעַתָּה אוֹדִיעֲךָ סוֹד ״בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה״). Barukh [blessed] (בָּרוּ״ךְ) equals twelve in mispar katan [reduced numerical value], corresponding to Ehyeh [I Will Be] (עוֹלֶה בְּמִסְפָּר קָטָן י״ב כְּנֶגֶד אֶהְיֶה); and Atah [You] (אַתָּ״ה) likewise equals ten, corresponding to the ten Sefirot [Divine Emanations], which are influenced by Ehyeh [I Will Be] (וְאַתָּ״ה גַּם כֵּן עוֹלֶה עֲשָׂרָה כְּנֶגֶד עֶשֶׂר סְפִירוֹת שֶׁהֵם מוּשְׁפָּעוֹת מֵאֶהְיֶה).

And when we say “Barukh Atah [Blessed are You]”, we request that Barukh [blessing] flow upon Atah [You], which is Kenesset Yisrael [Congregation of Israel], as we have said And when we mention “Barukh Atah [Blessed are You]”, we acknowledge and believe that from Him, blessed be He, the entire world is influenced and watched over (וּכְשֶׁאֲנַחְנוּ מַזְכִּירִים ״בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה״ אֲנַחְנוּ מוֹדִים וּמַאֲמִינִים אֲשֶׁר מֵאִתּוֹ יִתְבָּרַךְ מֻשְׁפָּע וּמֻשְׁגָּח כָּל הָעוֹלָם), and we ask before Him that He bestow upon us the blessing alluded to in the tenth Sefirah [Divine Emanation] (וּמְבַקְּשִׁים מִלְּפָנָיו שֶׁיַּשְׁפִּיעַ עָלֵינוּ בְּרָכָה הָרְמוּזָה בַּסְּפִירָה הָעֲשִׂירִית).

And everyone who hears a blessing from the mouth of his fellow is obligated to answer “Amen” [truly] (וְכׇל הַשּׁוֹמֵעַ בְּרָכָה מִפִּי חֲבֵרוֹ חַיָּב לַעֲנוֹת ״אָמֵן״), and greater is the reward of the one who answers “Amen” than of the one who blesses (וְגָדוֹל שְׂכָרוֹ שֶׁל הָעוֹנֶה ״אָמֵן״ יוֹתֵר מִן הַמְבָרֵךְ), as our Sages, of blessed memory, said (כְּמוֹ שֶׁאָמְרוּ רַזַ״ל): “Greater is the one who answers Amen than the one who blesses” (גָּדוֹל הָעוֹנֶה אָמֵן יוֹתֵר מִן הַמְבָרֵךְ).

For Amen [truly], in its full spelling, equals three hundred with its letters, like berachamim [with mercy] with its letters In this manner: Alef, Mem, Nun—spelled fully, Alef Lamed Peh, Mem Mem, Nun Vav Nun—equals 297 (בַּזֶּה הָאֹפֶן: אל״ף מ״ם נו״ן, עוֹלֶה קקצ״ז); and the three letters of “Amen” bring it to 300, like berachamim [with mercy] (וְג׳ אוֹתִיּוֹת ״אָמֵן״, שֶׁהֵם עוֹלִים לְמִנְיָן ש׳ כְּמִנְיָן ״בְּרַחֲמִים״).

And also know that the letters of “Amen,” in milui milui [the full spelling of its full spelling], are twenty-one letters (וְעוֹד דַּע, כִּי אוֹתִיּוֹת ״אָמֵן״ בִּמְלוּאֵי מִלּוּאָם הֵם כ״א אוֹתִיּוֹת): Alef Lamed Peh (אַל״ף למ״ד פ״א), Mem Mem (מ״ם מ״ם), Nun Vav Nun (נו״ן וא״ו נו״ן), corresponding to the Name Ehyeh [I Will Be] (כְּנֶגֶד שֵׁם אֶהְיֶה). This comes to inform us that from that Name mercy and compassion are bestowed upon Kenesset Yisrael, as I have said
