Green and white eyes together (עַיְּינִין יְרוֹקִין וְחִוָּורִן כַּחֲדָא), with a trace of black inside them (וּזְעֵיר מִגָּוֶון אוּכָם בְּהוּ) this is one who is a master of secrets (דָּא אִיהִי מָארֵיהּ דְּרָזִין), and he succeeds in them (וְאַצְלַח בְּהוּ). And if he remains in that success (וְאִי שָׁאַרִי בְּאַצְלָחוּתָא), he succeeds and ascends (אַצְלַח וְסָלִיק). His enemies cannot prevail over him (שָׂנְאוֹי לָא יַכְלִין לֵיהּ), and he rules over them in mastery (וְאִיהוּ שַׁלִּיט עָלַיְיהוּ בְּשׁוּלְטָנוּ), and they are subdued before him (וְאִתְכַּפְּיָין קָמֵיהּ). This is in the secret of the letter Kaf (דָּא אִיהוּ בְּרָזָא דְּאָת כ׳), which is included in the Secret of the letter Samekh (דְּאִתְכְּלִיל בְּרָזָא דְּאָת ס׳). And because of this, he has dominion-if he remains so Up to here are the secrets of the eyes for those who are masters of wisdom

The secret of the face is for those who are masters of inner wisdom The likenesses of the face are not the external markings (דִּיוּקְנִין דְּאַנְפִּין, לָאו אִינּוּן בִּרְשִׁימִין דִּלְבַּר), but within the inscriptions of inner secrets (אֶלָּא בְּגוֹ רְשִׁימָא דְּרָזִין פְּנִימָאִין). For the likenesses of the face are reversed from the impressions of facial markings (דְּדִּיוּקְנִין דְּאַנְפִּין, מִתְהַפְּכָן מִגּוֹ דִּיוּקְנִין דִּרְשִׁימוּ דְּאַנְפִּין), sealed within the spirit that dwells inside (סְתִימִין בְּרוּחָא דְּשַׁרְיָא לְגוֹ). And from that spirit, the external face becomes visible (וּמִגּוֹ הַהוּא רוּחָא, אִתְחָזֵי לְבַר דִּיוּקְנִין דְּאַנְפִּין), which are recognized by the wise (דְּאִשְׁתְּמוֹדְעָן לְגַבֵּי אִינּוּן חַכִּימִין).

The likenesses of the face are recognized from the spirit There is a spirit in a human being (רוּחָא אִית בְּבַר נָשׁ), in which the secrets of the engraved letters reside (דְּרָזִין דְּאַתְוָון חֲקִיקִין בֵּיהּ). And all those letters are sealed within that spirit (וְכֻלְּהוּ אַתְוָון סְתִימִין גּוֹ הַהוּא רוּחָא), and according to the moment, the impressions of those letters rise into the face (וּלְפוּם שַׁעֲתָא סַלְּקִין רְשִׁימִין דְּאִינּוּן אַתְוָון לְגוֹ אַנְפִּין). And as those letters ascend (וּכְמָה דְּאִינּוּן אַתְוָון סַלְּקִין), so are the faces seen (הָכִי אִתְחָזוּן אַנְפִּין), with likenesses of impressions, according to the moment (בְּדִּיוּקְנִין רְשִׁימִין לְפוּם שַׁעֲתָא), in a vision that does not endure (בְּחֵיזוּ דְּלָא קַיְּימָא), except for those masters of wisdom in whom it is established (בַּר אִינּוּן מָארֵי דְּחָכְמְתָּא דְּאִתְקַיְּימָן בְּהוּ), and is not forgotten from them (וְלָא אִתְנַּשֵׁי מִנַּיְּיהוּ).

That place which is called the World to Come (הַהוּא אֲתָר דְּאִקְרֵי עָלְמָא דְּאָתֵי), this is the secret of the Orayta (אִיהוּ רָזָא דְּאוֹרַיְּיתָא), and from there issues forth the secret of the Orayta (וּמִתַּמָּן נַפְקָא רָזָא דְּאוֹרַיְּיתָא), through all the letters, which are the twenty-two letters (בְּכֻלְּהוּ אַתְוָון דְּאִינּוּן כ״ב אַתְוָון), the totality of all (כְּלָלָא דְּכֹלָּא). And that river which goes out from Eden receives everything And when those spirits and souls fly out from it (וְכַד פַּרְחָן מִנֵּיהּ אִינּוּן רוּחִין וְנִשְׁמָתִין), they are all formed in the image of those letters (כֻּלְּהוּ מִצְטַיְּירָן בְּצִיּוּרָא דְּאִינּוּן אַתְוָון), and thus they all emerge (וְהָכִי נַפְקֵי כֻּלְּהוּ). And because of this, the spirit of a person, which is formed in the image of letters (וּבְּגִין כָּךְ, רוּחָא דְּבַר נָשׁ דְּמִצְטַיְּירָא בְּצִיּוּרָא דְּאַתְוָון), forms a likeness upon the face (עָבִיד צִיּוּרָא בְּאַנְפִּין).

Rabbi Shim‘on said to him (אֲמַר לֵיהּ רַבִּי שִׁמְעוֹן), if so, the likeness of Imma is not formed within that spirit (אִי הָכִי צִיּוּרָא דְּאִימָּא לָא מִצְטַיְּירָא גּוֹ הַהוּא רוּחָא). They said: So we have heard from the Master (אָמְרוּ: הָכִי שְׁמַעְנָא מִנֵּיהּ דְּמוֹר), that the form of the letters is from the side above (דְּצִיּוּרָא דְּאַתְוָון מִסִּטְרָא דִּלְעֵילָּא), and the form of Imma is formed in that spirit below (וְצִיּוּרָא דְּאֵימָּא מִצְטַיְּירָא בְּהַהוּא רוּחָא לְתַתָּא). The form of the letters is hidden inwardly (צִיּוּרָא דְּאַתְוָון אִתְגְּנִיזוּ לְגוֹ), and the form of Imma radiates outward (וְצִיּוּרָא דְּאֵימָּא בָּלִיט לְבַר).
