Daf 256a (דַּף רנ״ו ע״א)

Two supporters on the north side: Azpiy’el (some say: Katzirha’el) and Katatariha’el (תְּרֵין סַמְכִין דְּאִינּוּן לִסְטַר צָפוֹן, עַזְפִּיאֵ״ל (ס״א: קַטְצִירְהָאֵ״ל, קְטָטָרִיהָאֵ״ל), and each is appointed over twelve thousand other appointed ones, as said (וְאִינּוּן מְמָנָן עַל תְּרֵיסָר אַלְפֵי מְמָנָן אַחֲרָנִין כָּל חַד וְחַד כִּדְקַאמְרָן). Two supporters on the west side: Asisniyah and Adiririyah (some say: Adiryah (תְּרֵין סַמְכִין דְּלִסְטַר מַעֲרָב, אִינּוּן עֲסִסְנִיָּ״הּ, אַדִירִירִיָּ״ה (נ״א: אֲדִירִיָּ״ה), and these are appointed over twelve thousand other appointed ones, each one as before (וְאִלֵּין מְמָנָן עַל תְּרֵיסָר אַלְפִין מְמָנָן אַחֲרָנִין, כָּל חַד וְחַד כִּדְקַאמְרָן). These are appointed to proclaim in all firmaments (אִלֵּין אִתְמָנוּן לְאַכְרְזָא בְּכָל רְקִיעִין), to all those who turn their children away from Orayta (לְכָל אִינּוּן דִּמְעַבְרִין בְּנַיְיהוּ מֵאוֹרַיְיתָא), and they elevate them who do not toil in it (וְסַלְּקִין לוֹן דְּלָא יִלְעוּן בָּהּ). Then all these appointed ones go out, proclaiming and saying (כְּדֵין נַפְקֵי כָּל הָנֵי מְמָנָן וּמַכְרִיזֵי וְאַמְרֵי): Woe to so-and-so who removed his son from Orayta (וַוי לִפְלָנַיָא דְּאַעְבָּר בְּרֵיהּ מֵאוֹרַיְיתָא), woe to him who is lost from this world and the World to Come (וַוי לֵיהּ דְּקָא אִתְאַבִיד מֵעָלְמָא דֵּין, וּמֵעָלְמָא דְּאָתֵי).

The fourth palace (הֵיכָלָא רְבִיעָאָה), this palace is a palace that stands in supernal radiance (הֵיכָלָא דָּא, הֵיכָלָא דְּקַיְּימָא בִּנְהִירוּ יַתִיר). This palace is surrounded by thirty-two supernal stakes (הֵיכָלָא דָּא, סָחֲרִין לֵיהּ תְּלָתִין וּתְרֵין יְתֵדוֹת עִלָּאִין), and five hundred thousand others appointed beneath them (וְחָמֵשׁ מֵאָה אֶלֶף אַחֲרָנִין דִּמְמָנָן תְּחוֹת אִלֵּין). And four others, higher than all of them (וְאַרְבַּע אַחֲרָנִין, עִלָּאִין עַל כֻּלְּהוּ), and all of them are stakes of this palace (וְכֻלְּהוּ יְתֵדוֹת דְּהֵיכָלָא דָּא). These four are: Chasdiya’el, Kasiriyah (some say: Kasdiya) Kedumyah, and Dahari’el (אִלֵּין אַרְבַּע אִינּוּן: חַסְדִיָּאֵ״ל, קָסִירִיָּ״ה (נ״א: קַסְדִיָּה, קְדוּמְיָּ״הּ, דַּהֲרִיאֵ״ל). These four are appointed over all of them (אִלֵּין אַרְבַּע מְמָנָן עַל כֻּלְּהוּ), and all the others are appointed beneath them (וְכֻלְּהוּ אַחֲרָנִין, כֻּלְּהוּ מְמָנָן תְּחוֹתַיְיהוּ).

And through them, judgment is known to be executed in the world (וְעַל יְדָא דְּאִלֵּין, אִתְיְדַע דִּינָא לְמֶעְבַּד בְּעָלְמָא), and about them it is written: “And by the decree of the holy ones the matter is declared” (Daniel 4) (וְעַל אִלֵּין כְּתִיב: וּמֵאָמַר קַדִּישִׁין שְׁאֵלְתָּא). To these four come all those forces who are appointed over judgment (לְהָנִי אַרְבַּע, אַתְיָין כָּל אִינּוּן חַיָּילִין דִּי מְמָנָן עַל דִּינָא), to inquire how judgment was decreed in the world (לְשָׁאֲלָא הֵיךְ אִתְגְּזַר דִּינָא בְּעָלְמָא). All those judgments which are not given in writing (כָּל אִינּוּן דִּינִין דְּלָא אִתְיְיהִיבוּ בְּפִתְקִין), for the sustenance of the world (לְקִיּוּמָא דְּעָלְמָא), therefore all come to inquire (וְעַל דָּא כֻּלְּהוּ אַתְיָין לְשָׁאֲלָא). And for this, all of them are appointed over this (וּבְגִין כַּךְ כֻּלְּהוּ מְמָנָן עַל דָּא).

Those other thirty-two are appointed over all those who engage in Orayta constantly (אִינּוּן תְּלָתִין וּתְרֵין אַחֲרָנִין, אִינּוּן מְמָנָן עַל כָּל אִינּוּן דְּלָעָאן בְּאוֹרַיְיתָא תָּדִיר), and do not cease day or night (וְלָא פַּסְקֵי בִּימָמָא וּבְלֵילְיָא). And those others beneath them (וְאִלֵּין אַחֲרָנִין כֻּלְּהוּ דִּתְחוֹתַיְיהוּ), are appointed over all who fix known times for Orayta (אִינּוּן מְמָנָן עַל כָּל אִינּוּן דְּקַבְּעִין זִמְנִין יְדִיעָאן לְאוֹרַיְיתָא). And for this they are all appointed (וְעַל דָּא אִינּוּן מְמָנָן כֻּלְּהוּ), and to punish all those (וּלְאַעְנְשָׁא כֻּלְּהוּ), who are able to engage in Orayta but do not engage in it (לְכָל אִינּוּן דְּיַכְלֵי לְאִשְׁתַּדְּלָא בְּאוֹרַיְיתָא, וְלָא מִשְׁתַּדְּלֵי).
