Chapter Forty-Seven (פֶּרֶק אַרְבָּעִים וְשִׁבְעָה)

The letter Kuf - know that the point of the Kuf extended downward like the letter Nun Sofit (אוֹת קוּף, דַּע שֶׁנְּקֻדָּתָהּ שֶׁל ק׳ הִיא נִתְפַּשְׁטָה לְאׇרְכָּה כְּאוֹת ן׳), and since the light increased within it through the line drawn downward (וּלְהִיוֹת שֶׁנִּתְרַבֶּה הָאוֹר בָּהּ בַּקָּו הַנִּמְשָׁךְ לְמַטָּה), it became separated from the point (נִפְרְדָה מִן הַנְּקֻדָּה). And when the point saw that its line had separated from it (וּכְשֶׁרָאֲתָה הַנְּקֻדָּה שֶׁהַקָּו שֶׁלָּהּ נִפְרַד מִמֶּנָּה), it spread to its left until the end of the width of the boundary of the letter (נִתְפַּשְּׁטָה לְצַד שְׂמֹאול שֶׁלָּהּ עַד סוֹף רֹחַב גְּבוּל הָאוֹת), and a small line emerged from it like a Reish (וְיָצָא מִמֶּנָּה קָו קָטָן כְּמוֹ ר׳), because the large line had already come out from it, and its strength had weakened (מִפְּנֵי שֶׁכְּבָר יָצָא מִמֶּנָּה קָו הַגָּדוֹל וְנִחְלַשׁ כֹּחָהּ). And also, "from Hashem is the thing" - to weaken the power of falsehood (וְגַם 'מֵי״הוָ׳ יָצָא הַדָּבָר' לְחַלּוֹשׁ כֹּחַ הַשֶּׁקֶר).
