Chapter Forty-Eight (פֶּרֶק אַרְבָּעִים וּשְׁמוֹנָה)

The letter Reish - its point was with diminished light (אוֹת הָרֵישׁ נְקֻדָּתָהּ הָיְתָה בְּמִיעוּט אוֹר), and it was not able to produce from itself a line (וְלֹא יָכְלָה לְהוֹצִיא מִמֶּנָּה קָו), but rather it spread in its width toward the left side (אֶלָּא נִתְפַּשְּׁטָה בְּרֹחְבָּהּ דֶּרֶךְ שְׂמָאלִית).
