Chapter Four (פֶּרֶק רְבִיעִי)

We have already said above in the third chapter (כְּבָר אָמַרְנוּ לְמַעְלָה בַּפֶּרֶק הַשְּׁלִישִׁי), that these ten Sefirot of the circle of the sphere of Tehiru itself (אֵלֶּה הָעֶשֶׂר סְפִירוֹת שֶׁל עִיגּוּל כַּדּוּר הַטְּהִירוּ בְּעַצְמוֹ), not only do they spread in its circular form all around (לֹא זוֹ בִּלְבַד שֶׁמִּתְפַּשְּׁטִים בַּעֲגֻלּוֹ סָבִיב), but also in such a way that they extend at their angles (אֶלָּא אַף זוֹ שֶׁמִּתְפַּשְּׁטִים בְּזָוִיּוֹתֵיהֶם), to the central midpoint from every direction (עַד הַמֶּרְכָּז הָאֶמְצָעִי מִכָּל צַד), until they connect together and become one single point in the center (עַד הִתְחַבְּרָם יַחַד וְנַעֲשׂוּ נְקֻדָּה אַחַת בָּאֶמְצָע), in which none of the ten was discernible in its individual identity (שֶׁלֹּא הָיוּ נִכָּרִים בָּהּ כָּל הָעֲשָׂרָה כָּל אֶחָד וְאֶחָד בִּפְרָטִיּוּתוֹ). And they filled most of the inner space of Tehiru (וְהֵם הָיוּ מְמַלְּאִים רֹב חָלָל הַטְּהִירוּ), and were formed in a circle like this (וּמְצוּיָּרִים בַּעֲגֻלּ כָּזֶה):

These are the ten Sefirot of the circle of the sphere of Tehiru (אֵלֶּה הֵם עֶשֶׂר סְפִירוֹת שֶׁל עִיגּוּל כַּדּוּר הַטְּהִירוּ), revolving in a circle (בְּסִיבוּבָם בַּעֲגֻלּ), and they also spread diagonally (וּמִתְפַּשְּׁטִים גַּם כֵּן בְּאַלְכָּסוֹן), toward the central midpoint (אֶל נְקֻדַּת הַמֶּרְכָּז הָאֶמְצָעִי). And there Ein Sof began to gather the central point (וּבָהֶם הִתְחִיל אַחַר כָּךְ אֵין סוֹף לְקַבֵּץ הַנְּקֻדָּה הָאֶמְצָעִית), with all ten of its parts intermixed (בְּכָל עֲשָׂרָה חֲלָקָיו מְעֹרָבִים יַחַד), and no one of them was discernible in particular (וְלֹא הָיְתָה נִכֶּרֶת כָּל אֶחָת וְאֶחָת בִּפְרָטִיּוּת). And afterward Ein Sof sent the aforementioned Yod (וְאַחַר כָּךְ שָׁלַח אֵין סוֹף אֶת הַיּו״ד הַנִּזְכָּרֶת), to bring forth the individual aspects of the ten Sefirot (לְהוֹצִיא חֵלֶק הַפְּרָטִים שֶׁל הָעֶשֶׂר סְפִירוֹת), each one in its own particularity (כָּל אֶחָד וְאֶחָד בִּפְרָטִיּוּתוֹ). And from them were later made the ten Sefirot of the World of Tohu (וּמֵהֶם נַעֲשׂוּ אַחַר כָּךְ עֶשֶׂר סְפִירוֹת שֶׁל עוֹלַם הַתֹּהוּ), as I will explain, with the help of Heaven and life, in the gate that will follow this (כְּמוֹ שֶׁאֲבָאֵר אִי״ה בַּחַיִּים בַּשַּׁעַר שֶׁיָּבוֹא אַחַר זֶה).
