Mishnah 4 (מִשְׁנָה ד׳)

One hundred and thirty of the Levi’im were killed (מֵאָה וּשְׁלוֹשִׁים מֵהַלְוִיִּם נֶהֶרְגוּ), and one hundred escaped with Shimmur the Levi and his companions (וּמֵאָה נִמְלְטוּ עִם שִׁמּוּר הַלֵּוִי וַחֲבֵרָיו). And they hid bowls of fine gold, fifty ten-thousands (וְהֵם גָּנְזוּ קְעָרוֹת שֶׁל זָהָב טוֹב חֲמִשִּׁים רִבּוֹא), and of silver, one hundred and twenty ten-thousands (וְשֶׁל כֶּסֶף מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים רִבּוֹא). Goblets of fine gold, fifty ten-thousands (קָשׁוֹת שֶׁל זָהָב טוֹב חֲמִשִּׁים רִבּוֹא), and of silver, one hundred and twenty ten-thousands (וְשֶׁל כֶּסֶף מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים רִבּוֹא). And upon every goblet, five pearls (וְעַל כָּל קְשׁוֹה וּקְשׁוֹה מַרְגָּלִיּוֹת חֲמִשָּׁה), two precious stones (אֲבָנִים טוֹבוֹת שְׁנַיִם). And the value of each and every precious stone was one hundred talents of gold (וּדְמֵי כָּל אַחַת וְאַחַת שֶׁל אֶבֶן טוֹבָה מֵאָה כִּכְּרֵי זָהָב). The total value of the pearls was two hundred thousand talents of gold (כָּל דְּמֵי הַמַּרְגָּלִיּוֹת מָאתַיִם אֲלָפִים כִּכְּרֵי זָהָב). Trumpets of gold, thirty-six (חֲצוֹצְרוֹת שֶׁל זָהָב שְׁלוֹשִׁים וְשִׁשָּׁה). All these they hid and concealed in a tower in the land of Bavel, in the city whose name is Bagdat (כָּל אֵלּוּ הֶחְבִּיאוּ וְגָנְזוּם בְּמִגְדָּל בְּאֶרֶץ בָּבֶל בַּכֶּרֶךְ וּשְׁמָהּ בַּגְדַּת). Menorot of fine gold, ten ten-thousands (מְנוֹרוֹת שֶׁל זָהָב טוֹב עֲשָׂרָה רִבּוֹא), and seven lamps (וְשִׁבְעָה נֵרוֹת). Upon each and every one, twenty-six precious stones (עַל כָּל אֶחָד וְאֶחָד עֶשְׂרִים וְשִׁשָּׁה אֲבָנִים טוֹבוֹת). Upon each Menorah, three hundred pearls (עַל כָּל מְנוֹרָה וּמְנוֹרָה שְׁלוֹשׁ מֵאוֹת מַרְגָּלִית). Each one of them-its value was not known (כָּל אַחַת מֵהֶן לֹא נוֹדַע דָּמֶיהָ). And between each stone and stone, two hundred stones, also their value was not known (וּבֵין כָּל אֶבֶן וְאֶבֶן מָאתַיִם אֲבָנִים גַּם כֵּן לֹא נוֹדַע דָּמֵיהֶן).
