Chapter 24, Section 1 (פֶּרֶק כ״ד אוֹת א׳)

1. Greater than all of them (א. גְּדוֹלָה מִכֻּלָּם), five hundred and twelve eyes are in the four Holy Living Creatures (חֲמֵשׁ מֵאוֹת וּשְׁתֵּים עֶשְׂרֵה עֵינַיִם יֵשׁ בְּאַרְבַּע חַיּוֹת), corresponding to the entrance of the seventh Heikhal (נֶגֶד פֶּתַח הֵיכָל הַשְּׁבִיעִי): faces of human form (פָּנִים שֶׁל צֻרַת אָדָם), faces of sixteen faces (פָּנִים שֶׁל שִׁשָּׁה עָשָׂר), there are in each and every creature (יֵשׁ בְּכָל חַיָּה וְחַיָּה), corresponding to the entrance of the seventh Heikhal (נֶגֶד פֶּתַח הֵיכָל הַשְּׁבִיעִי).
