Chapter 31, Section 4 (פֶּרֶק ל״א אוֹת ד׳)

4. Rabbi Akiva said: Each and every day (ד. אָמַר רַבִּי עֲקִיבָא: בְּכָל יוֹם וָיוֹם), one angel stands in the midst of the firmament (מַלְאָךְ אֶחָד עוֹמֵד בְּאֶמְצַע הָרָקִיעַ), and opens and says: “Hashem reigns!” (וּפוֹתֵחַ וְאוֹמֵר: ה׳ מָלָךְ), and all the hosts of the heights respond after him (וְכָל צְבָא מָרוֹם עוֹנִין אַחֲרָיו), until he reaches “Bless the Lord...” (עַד שֶׁמַּגִּיעַ לְבָרְכוּ). When he reaches “Bless...” (כֵּיוָן שֶׁמַּגִּיעַ לְבָרְכוּ), there is one Living Creature whose name is Yisrael (חַיָּה אַחַת יֵשׁ שֶׁשְּׁמָהּ יִשְׂרָאֵל), and engraved on her forehead: My people are Mine (וְחָקוּק עַל מֵצַחָהּ: עַמִּי לִי), who stands in the midst of the firmament (עוֹמֶדֶת בְּאֶמְצַע הָרָקִיעַ), and says: “Bless Hashem Who is to be blessed!” (וְאוֹמֶרֶת: בָּרְכוּ אֶת ה׳ הַמְּבֹרָךְ), and all the princes of above answer after her (וְכָל שָׂרֵי מַעְלָה עוֹנִין אַחֲרֶיהָ): “Blessed is Hashem Who is blessed forever and ever” (בָּרוּךְ ה׳ הַמְּבֹרָךְ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד). Before she finishes her words (עַד שֶׁלֹּא יִגְמֹר דְּבָרֶיהָ), the Ofanim quake and tremble (רוֹעֲשִׁים וְרוֹעֲדִים הָאוֹפַנִּים), and shake all the world (וּמְרַעֲשִׁים אֶת כָּל הָעוֹלָם), and say: “Blessed be the glory of Hashem from His place” (וְאוֹמְרִים: בָּרוּךְ כְּבוֹד ה׳ מִמְּקוֹמוֹ). And that Living Creature stands in the midst of the firmament (וְאוֹתָהּ חַיָּה עוֹמֶדֶת בְּאֶמְצַע הָרָקִיעַ), until all the ministers above and commanders and legions and all the camps tremble (עַד שֶׁרוֹעֲדִים כָּל שָׂרֵי מַעְלָה וּטוֹפְסָרִים וּגְדוּדִים וְכָל הַמַּחֲנוֹת), and each and every one, in their standing, says to the Living Creature (וְכָל אֶחָד וְאֶחָד בְּעָמְדוֹ אוֹמֵר לַחַיָּה): Shema Yisrael Hashem Elokeinu Hashem Echad (Devarim 6:4) (שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל ה׳ אֱלֹקֵינוּ ה׳ אֶחָד).
