Chapter 36, Section 2 (פֶּרֶק ל״ו אוֹת ב׳)

2. And at the time when the Mashiach shall rise up from the prison house (ב. וּבְשָׁעָה שֶׁהַמָּשִׁיחַ יַעֲלֶה מִבֵּית הָאֲסוּרִין), he shall contend with the nations of the world (מִתְעָסֵק עַל אוּמוֹת הָעוֹלָם), to each nation (לְכָל עַם), and they shall say to him: (וְאוֹמְרִים לוֹ:) “Why do you seek to uproot seventy nations on behalf of one nation?” (מִפְּנֵי מָה אַתָּה רוֹצֶה לַעֲקוֹר שִׁבְעִים אוּמוֹת מִפְּנֵי אוּמָּה אַחַת) “All evils found in our people are found in your people!” (כָּל רָעוֹת שֶׁיֵּשׁ בְּעַמֵּנוּ יֵשׁ בְּעַמְּךָ) “Thieves are found in our people—thieves are found in your people” (גַּנָּבִים יֵשׁ בְּעַמֵּנוּ, גַּנָּבִים יֵשׁ בְּעַמְּךָ), “Murderers are found in our people—murderers are found in your people” (שׁוֹפְכֵי דָמִים יֵשׁ בְּעַמֵּנוּ, שׁוֹפְכֵי דָמִים יֵשׁ בְּעַמְּךָ), “Those who commit sexual immorality are found in our people—those who commit sexual immorality are found in your people” (מְגַלֵּי עֲרָיוֹת יֵשׁ בְּעַמֵּנוּ, מְגַלֵּי עֲרָיוֹת יֵשׁ בְּעַמְּךָ).
