Chapter 36, Section 5 (פֶּרֶק ל״ו אוֹת ה׳)

5. Another explanation: because Israel say (ה. דָּבָר אַחֵר: מִפְּנֵי שֶׁיִּשְׂרָאֵל אוֹמְרִים), that in that generation the world continues in its natural course (שֶׁבְּאוֹתוֹ הַדּוֹר אֶפְשָׁר עוֹלָם כְּמִנְהָגוֹ נוֹהֵג), and that there will be redemption in this year (וְיֵשׁ גְּאֻלָּה בַּשָּׁנָה הַזֹּאת), but they do not know (וְהֵם אֵינָם יוֹדְעִים) that suddenly he shall come (שֶׁפִּתְאֹם יָבֹא).
