Chapter 8, Section 2 (פֶּרֶק ח׳ אוֹת ב׳)

2. Rabbi Yishma’el said (ב אָמַר רַבִּי יִשְׁמָעֵאל): Suri’a, Prince of the Presence, my friend, told me (סַח לִי סוּרִי״א שַׂר הַפָּנִים יְדִידִי): “Do not be saddened in this measure by which you are departing to your eternal home (אַל תֵּעָצֵב בַּמִּדָּה הַזֹּאת שֶׁאַתָּה נִפְטָר בָּהּ לְבֵית עוֹלָמֶךָ), for already VeHadri’el, Hashem God of Yisrael, has laughed at that wicked one (שֶׁכְּבָר מָלֵא וְהַדְרִיאֵ״ל ה׳ אֱלֹקֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל שְׂחוֹק עַל אוֹתוֹ רָשָׁע), and He said: ‘The splendor of majesty in which I dwell (וְאָמַר: הֲדַר גֵּאוֹן שֶׁאֲנִי שָׁרוּי בּוֹ), and the Throne of Glory which has been adorned for Me (וְכִסֵּא כָבוֹד שֶׁסִּלְסְלוּ לוֹ), from which I have not departed since it was created and unto eternity (בֵּין שֶׁאֵינִי עוֹזֵב מִשֶּׁנִּבְרָא וְעַדֵי עַד), I shall cause him to taste the taste of light and coals of fire (שֶׁאֲנִי מַטְעִימוֹ טַעַם אוֹר וְגַחֲלֵי אֵשׁ), of Keruvim and Ofanim and Holy Living Creatures and Seraphim (כְּרוּבִים וְאוֹפַנִּים וְחַיּוֹת הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְשְׂרָפִים), for that wicked one in Gehinnom (לְאוֹתוֹ רָשָׁע בְּגֵיהִנֹּם), by the hand of Rabbi Chanina ben Teradyon’” (עַל יְדֵי רַבִּי חֲנִינָא בֶן תְּרַדְיוֹן).
