Chapter Six (פֶּרֶק שִּׁשִּׁי)
Even though Keter, Chokhmah, and Binah of Keter are called one Keter (אַף עַל פִּי שֶׁכֶּתֶר חָכְמָה וּבִינָה שֶׁל כֶּתֶר, הֵם נִקְרָאִים כֶּתֶר אֶחָד), and Arich includes them (וַאֲרִיךְ כּוֹלְלָם), and regarding it is said: “Before One — that is Arich — what are you counting?” (וְעָלָיו נֶאֱמַר: לִפְנֵי אֶחָד שֶׁהוּא אֲרִיךְ מַה אַתָּה סוֹפֵר), for above Him, those worlds are called “Worlds of Ein Sof” in general (כִּי לְמַעְלָה מִמֶּנּוּ נִקְרָאִים אוֹתָן הָעוֹלָמוֹת, עוֹלָמוֹת אֵין־סוֹף בִּכְלָל), for their letters become filled and increase endlessly (כִּי הָאוֹתִיּוֹת שֶׁלָּהֶם מִתְמַלְּאִים וּמִתְרַבִּים לְאֵין תַּכְלִית), due to their immense closeness to the Emanator (לְרוֹב קִרְבָתָם אֶל הַמַּאֲצִיל). And therefore, Ein Sof established the Parsa between Adam Kadma’ah the Hidden and Adam Kadmon plain (וְלָכֵן אֵין־סוֹף תִּקֵּן הַפַּרְסָה בֵּין אָדָם קַדְמָאָה סְתִימָאָה לְבֵין אָדָם קַדְמוֹן סְתָם), and each one became a Parsa for its companion (וְכָל אֶחָד נַעֲשָׂה פַּרְסָא לַחֲבֵרוֹ), until — due to the extreme constriction of the limbs of the Head of Atik Yomin (עַד שֶׁמִּפְּנֵי רוֹב דּוֹחַק אֵיבָרֵי הָרֹאשׁ שֶׁל עַתִּיק יוֹמִין) — only a small influx goes out to Atzilut (יוֹצֵא מְעַט שֶׁפַע לְאֲצִילוּת), according to what they are able to bear (כְּפִי אֲשֶׁר יוּכְלוּן שֵׂאת). Over all this, the Possessor of Will saw that the Light was still too great (עַל כָּל זֹאת רָאָה בַּעַל הָרָצוֹן שֶׁעֲדַיִן הָאוֹר גָּדוֹל), and the worlds could not endure (וְאִי אֶפְשָׁר לָעוֹלָמוֹת לְהִתְקַיֵּם). Therefore, He brought out the Keter, Chokhmah, and Binah that are within Keter from potential to actuality (לְכָךְ הוֹצִיא כָּחַ״ב שֶׁבַּכֶּתֶר מִן הַכֹּחַ אֶל הַפֹּעַל), until Adam Kadma’ah was made (עַד שֶׁנַּעֲשָׂה אָדָם קַדְמָאָה), and the Tikkun of the Head that is Not Known descended below (וְתִקּוּן רֵישָׁא דְּלָא אִתְיְדַע יָרַד לְמַטָּה). And hold this rule in your hand: every point includes ten (וְנָקוֹט הַאי כְּלָלָא בְּיָדָךְ: שֶׁכָּל נְקוּדָּה כְּלוּלָה מֵעֶשֶׂר), and there is in it something equal to its fellow (וְיֵשׁ בָּהּ דָּבָר הַמִּשְׁתַּוֶּה אֶל חֲבֵרְתָּהּ), and each one is emanated from its companion (וְכָל אַחַת נֶאֶצֶלֶת מֵחֲבֵרְתָּהּ). It is found that what is in one, is also found in its fellow (נִמְצָא מַה שֶׁיֵּשׁ בָּהּ, יֵשׁ גַּם כֵּן בַּחֲבֵרְתָּהּ). And if you say: Why did these Keter, Chokhmah, and Binah emerge from potential to actuality — from the amount of a point into ten Sefirot in actuality in the form of a Partzuf (וְאִם תֹּאמַר: לָמָּה אֵלּוּ הַכֶּתֶר חָכְמָה וּבִינָה יָצְאוּ מִן הַכֹּחַ אֶל הַפֹּעַל, מִכַּמּוּת הַנְּקֻדָּה אֶל עֶשֶׂר סְפִירוֹת בַּפֹּעַל בִּצְוּרַת פַּרְצוּף), and not the rest of the Sefirot included within Keter (וְלֹא שְׁאָר הַסְּפִירוֹת שֶׁל כְּלִילוּת כֶּתֶר)? The answer: Know (תְּשׁוּבָה: דַּע), that since the levels of Keter, Chokhmah, and Binah were very great (לְפִי שֶׁהָיוּ מַדְרֵגוֹת כָּחַ״ב גְּדוֹלָה מְאֹד), all the rest were gestating within Keter, Chokhmah, and Binah (עַד שֶׁכֻּלָּם הָיוּ מְעוּבָּרִים בְּתוֹךְ כָּחַ״ב), as mentioned in Sha‘ar Olam haTohu (כַּנִּזְכָּר בְּשַׁעַר עוֹלָם הַתּוֹהוּ). It is found that each and every one left its imprint within it (נִמְצָא כָּל אֶחָד וְאֶחָד, הִנִּיחַ רִשּׁוּמוֹ בְּתוֹכוֹ), and especially in Keter, through which all passed and were gestating within it (וּמַה גַּם בַּכֶּתֶר, שֶׁכֻּלָּם הָיוּ עוֹבְרִים דֶּרֶךְ שָׁם וּמְעוּבָּרִים בְּתוֹכוֹ). Not so Chokhmah, which did not have gestating within her Keter (מַה שֶּׁאֵין כֵּן חָכְמָה, לֹא הָיְתָה מְעוּבֶּרֶת בְּתוֹכָה כֶּתֶר), and from this you can judge the rest of the Sefirot (וּמִזֶּה תָּדִין לִשְׁאָר הַסְּפִירוֹת). And always Keter, Chokhmah, and Binah — each is a garment for its fellow (וּלְעוֹלָם כָּחַ״ב כָּל אֶחָד לְבוּשׁ לַחֲבֵרוֹ), they are connected and never separated (מְחוּבָּרִים וְאֵינָם נִפְרָדִים לְעוֹלָם), just as they were not shattered in the world of Tohu (כְּמוֹ שֶׁגַּם כֵּן לֹא נִשְׁבְּרוּ בְּעוֹלָם הַתּוֹהוּ). Therefore Chokhmah and Binah, which are themselves cracked (לָכֵן חָכְמָה וּבִינָה הַסְּדוּקִים עַצְמָם), are as the upper Chokhmah and Binah that are within Keter (הֵם כְּמוֹ לְמַעְלָה בַּחָכְמָה וּבִינָה שֶׁבַּכֶּתֶר), as I will explain (כַּאֲשֶׁר אֲבָאֵר). Therefore great power was found in their hands for this greatness — to bring forth the Three Heads that are called by the name Atika Kadisha
